Does anyone get sudden urges to violently injury or even kill someone in public? And do you know what probably causes those emotions?

You should use a AKM-74. AR-15s have a tendency to jam.

get these fairly often and its always violence aimed at causing some massive chaos against people I care about/authority (other peoples parents:confused:)

I guess this is why I'm not allowed to be a tyrant

And do you know what probably causes those emotions?Invariably the target of my rage is being some sort of asshole or major idiot.

There are a few jobs I've had where it's been a wonder I didn't end up the subject of the latest report on "going postal."

Mugabe, Ahmedinejad, Osama, and Kim Jong-Il need to get some sense smacked into them. Preferably with a rusty hammer.

Personally, my little voice is self-destructive. I'll be on a train platform and in the back of my head I'm tempted to jump. Not out of depression or anything, just sort of... I dunno.

I like to tackle people. As I have grown older, I have refrained from tackling strangers and mild acquaintances and have made it policy to tackle people I know fairly well. I also tackle bushes, mail boxes, furniture and tool sheds. *nod*

Specifically? Anything or anyone that gets in my way. Generally?

No, I don't haha. Closest I can come to saying I do is when I'm driving and another driver is flat out dangerous or just stupid. But I don't fantasize hurting them.. Maybe their car tho heh. Mostly I'd love to be able to communicate my frustration.. with a giant sign, a loud ass speaker or be able to call them on their cell.. which they are many times already on.. and ask them a question pertaining to what the fuck they are doing or just done.. or tell em off.

I didn't know there were people who didn't get those impulses. I think it's totally normal, as long as you don't actually do it. I get the impulse to drive my car off the road/into the car in front of me, to punch people in their teeth, to jump off balconies (especially at the mall, for some reason...), even to pick my students up and shake them until their little heads fall off. But I don't do it. I just take a deep breath, eat a cookie and try to make it through the day.

You mean like,
...You're walking down the street, and you see someone walking past and suddenly you want nothing more than to reach out and smack them. But that's not all, no, because you want to push them to the ground and start kicking them. Kick them and kick them and kick them, until their faces are just a mass of cartilage and blood and you know they'll never smile that stupid, fucking smile again?
...Or you're sitting in the passenger side of a car, and you're imagining grabbing the driver's head and and smashing it into the window until he blacks out and the car crashes off the side of the road?
...Or you're walking down the side walk, and cars are rushing past. Suddenly, there is this urge to jump off the sidewalk and onto the hood of one of those passing cars. Crashing through the glass and bouncing your quickly expiring corpse into the driver's face?
...Or you smell a woman's perfume, or maybe her period, whatever. The point is, the smell gets in your nose, and you want to grab her. Just grab her and bite down hard on her face. Gnawing through skin like a hungry dog?

That sort of thing?
No, I never experience anything of the sort. I'm normal; you must have problems with your mother, or something.

I have sometimes wanted to go on a shooting spree at my Middle, and High School. I won't say anything about recent events and what I want to do to my former grad school....

Mostly stress is what does it for me, and circumstances that are out of my control.

I do sometimes imagine how I would incapacitate everyone in the room with me without any of them sounding an alarm or calling for help. I think that's just daydreaming. I've never felt the urge to kill someone just for the sake of killing them.

Oh so you want to live...ahh, well...why? I mean after you're done killing people you're just going to go to prison, and your cell mate will be called Bubba and he'll give you sweet sweet loving night after night. Then he'll get tired of you and trade you to Jimbo for a pack of cigarettes.

Escape is usually part of the daydream, too. Otherwise I'd distract the class with sudden and unpredictable screaming.

And for the record, I'm worth at least five packs of cigarettes. The good kind, too.

I get the urge to cause brutal and painful wounds to stupid people on a regular basis, and once or twice I actually considered stabbing my neighbors with one of the many sharp objects I keep in my house (I am a sword collector) but I never have.

Only if they're cheap or not maintained properly. The Russian ak type weapons tend to have more recoil and crappier aim.

I get these impulses all the time... but that's why I enjoy video games... I can play out all my cruel, destructive thoughts there and not have to worry about exploding in the real world... music also greatly helps if I happen to have some at hand...

Cruel is another story. I'm not cruel, and I have no desire to break things just for the sake of it, maybe back when I was 14. Now I only get the impulse when provoked, not just when someone is annoying, but when they're intentionally annoying. There's a huge difference. I can tolerate unintentional stupidity fairly well.

Yes. Probably because of being extraordinarily irritated with them/pissed at them, in combination with a bad mood.

Mine's never jammed.

I've never understood that stereotype. Last time I was in the Caucuses some MVD boys found a Chechen weapons cache, and it had a few Vietnam style M16's, and naturally, we played around with them but they never jammed despite being in rather poor condition. Felt like a toy, however.

The police are only enforcing the law - they really don't have much choice in the matter. You need to talk to the Federal lawmakers who have suppressed even medical uses in states that are perfectly willing to make it legal.

The old joke when M16s started being used was, that they were made by the toy company Mattel (because of the plastic composite in the stock and forearm).

I wouldn't say I want to hurt people. I sometimes have thoughts of a situation in which I humiliate them in some verbal confrontation, and sometimes the likely outcome of this would be violence, but my expectation would be of them winning.

I have more thoughts about self-violence, like what would it feel like to full-out punch a wall, or walk out in front of a car. Not that I do any of these, just the thought appears in my mind. It seems my subconscious has no concern for my safety.
