For some reason my colds are always severe, and it doesn't help that I caught one ten days before chanukah. While congress is discussing what to do about Blagojevich, I nearly blagojeviched all over the carpet. >_<

I feel miserable.

Everyone gets sick around this time of year. I been sick all week.

What helps a bit is going out and drinking a lot. Well, it helped me anyway.

I don't think you really know how to use that as a verb, because it would be something much worse than what ever you were thinking.

I very rarely get colds and they never last more than a day or so. I keep up on my vitamin C, zinc and echinacea which greatly reduces the severity of colds and I use a UVC based air sanitizer in my house which greatly reduces their duration and prevents sharing it with family members.

I feel miserable.Excellent, Mister (Assumed) Lorenya. What do you suggest we do about this particular development of yours? A suitable over-the-counter treatment? Or perhaps a natural cure? Maybe even participation in a study group to find a cure for the common cold? Think about the possibilities, sir! You could help researchers cure one of the most common ailments in the world! One that has triumphed against the best efforts of our researchers. What do you say, sir? Will you help your fellow man by participating in this study group? If you are disinclined to acquiesce to my request, then a monetary donation will suffice. If you are also disinclined to that particular option, I suggest option one or two. Good day, sir.

Sicne some people are confused...

The first is a jewish holiday
The second is a certain governor under investigation by the FBI
And the third is what squeamish people may do when they learn they're under investigation by the FBI >_>

Well, normally people comfort me to cheer me up, and then I comfort them to cheer them up if they get sick...

Actually the third would be a number of things that squeamish people may do when they are arrested and handcuffed on their front porch at 6 something in the morning.

Juan Cole recently coined it. (http://www.juancole.com/2008/12/ghouls-glossary.html) I think it may catch on.

Blagojevich (v.) To sell public office for a profit. (n.). Corruption of a particularly blatant and stupid sort. synonym Venality.

You'll feel a lot more miserable if you keep on making threads like this. NSG is not your blog.
