The indictment is pretty sickening.
He is selling Obama's open Senate Seat. We don't know who each of the 5 Senate candidates listed are, but there is speculation it is Jesse Jackson Jr. It may also be Lisa Madigan. We will find out more in the coming days. It could be someone else though. Either way, Blago is sickening.
He withheld $8 MM in state funds from a children's hospital because the CEO wouldn't give him $50,000 for his campaign. This is a fucking children's hospital!!!
The Tribune is trying to sell Wrigley Field to the state to cover debt. He said he would use $100 MM in state funds to buy the 94 year old dump is the Trib sacked some editorial board members who are critical of him. I do not know all of those he wanted shit canned, but I do know some of them and have inside information that John Kass was among them. It's pretty easy to speculate on the others given the frequent calls for Blago to be indicted by the Trib.
He took $150,000 for a tollway project. I just love seeing those "open road tolling" signs with his name proudly placed on them.

We just threw our last Republican governor into jail and are now giving him a Democrat as a cellmate.
