I said that Eve Online, the MMORPG sucked. I said it sucked because it was laggy. Then I was informed that I have too crappy an internet connection to play Eve Online. Which is odd, because it works perfectly well for World of Warcraft and, well, Second Life.

Now, I know that WoW may use less bandwidth that Eve Online, although I think it unlikely. They both pass the same sorts of data back and forth after all. But Second Life .... ?

If my connection was too bad for Eve Online, there'd be no way in hell I'd be able to do diddly in Second Life!

Scratch that argument off the list.

Eve Online suxors. It wasn't even that I got killed, it was that I got killed while their network lagged. If their network hadn't lagged, I would have chalked it up to a learning experience. But now, these people have such a lack of foresight that they made sure the game was uber laggy.

If they can't even get their bandwidth demands right, then there's no point in my playing their game. And I'm certainly glad I didn't pay for it. I mean, it would have been much worse had I actually invested some real currency in it before trying it.

As for why I was in such a dangerous neighborhood? I dunno. I think I had like a 35,000.00 ISK run I was making. Given it was only my second day, I figger that was a pretty good run! :p
