I'm thinking they should train the Navy a little better before they start this ban.

Of course they should control assault weapons and grenades. Ban no, control yes. It is a terrorist filled country due to Pakistan's wars with them. Taking weapons from the citizens wont stop the terrorists from having them.

So if you make the guns illegal, where are they going to get them?

Are you under the impression that they made a stop at Mumbai's Guns&Grenades-R-Us emporium on their way to their target sites?

The same place they get them now? Black market deals, steal them, bribe military and/or police officials, etc.

The OP seems to be a bit ignorant or just young. First off choosing a terrorist attack to make a arguement for gun control is a bit retarded. The second is that people that want to get guns can always get guns.
I spend a bunch of time in a nation that has extremely strict gun laws(Morocco). The penalty is many many years in prison if caught with a unathorized rifle. If one were to actually have an assualt rifle in posession you may be lucky to get away with your life. However with that said I know of places in Morocco where I could buy an assualt weapon if I wanted. Bans dont stop people from getting guns if they really want them.
