So, what instrument/s do you play?

Well, I'd like to know what Generalites play. I play guitar passably and a very small amount of piano.
Guitar mostly now, classical guiltar to be precise (not style of music, rather kind of guitar for those who don't know). My piano skills have gotten pretty lame from disuse but I used to be an excellent pianist, and with a bit of warm up, can still do pretty well. Flute...also somewhat in disuse, but again, doesn't take long to pick it back up. Various other wind instruments (without reeds). I also sing, though I certainly don't have professional training. Then again, most of my musical skills are 'by ear'.

Bass guitar, exceptionally badly, only when drunk.
I can barely manage more than 2 strings, but luckily the musical skills of my band compatriots do not challenge this deficiency!

Guitar, ukulele, some piano. Just restrung most of my instruments today after a while of not playing - I've been busy with other projects. My fingers are killing me! I also found out that stringing a soprano uke with baritone strings gives a really nice warm tone.

Waaa?
The neck has very little to do with the sound. What you're objecting to is the nylon strings, which have quite a different tone than your average western guitar steel-wrapped strings.
Nylon strings are great for certain kinds of sounds, and genres...ditto with steel-wrapped strings. It makes no sense to claim the sound overall is not as nice.

Well I never knew necks had nothing to do with it. As I haven't been playing for that long what I play sounds better with steel strings, I haven't learnt or made up anything that sounds as nice on a nylon stringed guitar.

Not nothing to do with it, very little :D
I find it's a lot easier to go from the wide-necked nylong stringed classical guiltars to the narrow-necked steel-stringed western style guitars than visa versa. It takes a while to be able to stretch your fingers out enough for the classical style, especially with tiny little fingers like mine.
But I tend to compose for nylon strings, even though I do really like the bright tone of steel strings.

Guitar, Piano, Drums, woot.
Flute, although lately I have more fun playing on a tin whistle. I'm also trying guitar and didgeridoo, but on those I need more practice. A *lot* more practice, actually... (my story with guitar is thus: I got one for free, of a somewhat similar type as Neesika posted but with a serious bust in it. I didn't do much with it for a while, but then I thought, it's lying around catching dust, so I could just as well try learning to play on it. Haven't gotten far, with learning yet, though.)

I'm a professional-level classical singer, and a passable pianist. I used to be a mediocre flautist as well, but I've forgotten enough that my flute repertoire would now pretty much consist of "Mary Had a Little Lamb."

In my spare time, I do this (http://www.youtube.com/angrytigerp). That's pretty musical, amirite?

I play the guitar fairly well. Mandolin and bass guitar playing are okay. Violin I am very rusty so would probably be painful. Learning banjo and piano at the moment.
Guitar. I only play for myself. My real love from music is listening to others and with small acts helping them succeed. It's starting to finally pay off now that one of the bands I've been working with are about to release their first album.
Piano, guitar, flute, harmonica.
I used to play the first very well, but I don't have my own so I only get to practice every now and then. I'm not very good at the guitar. I'm a decent flautist and well, it's hard to suck horribly at the harmonica... I can't play many songs, but I like making up melodies that sound pretty with it. :)
I'm considering getting a keyboard and trying to make some music by layering melodies and all this. So yes, keyboards are like pianos, but I want to learn to use them for their non-piano capabilities.
Of course I'm also thinking of trying to learn the violin and if I get sent to Hawaii to observe again I'm buying a ukulele while I'm there ... there's always a new and interesting instrument I need to pick up somewhere. :S
