It may be just me, but those two pictures with the screen near the android head showing a woman making faces just made me think that the dawn of sex-bots, not world-dominating robots is near.

Keep in mind the early models of Terminators used fake skin too. Don't laugh, this is the evolution of mechanical terror and oppression.

Phooey! The Slashdot trolls would develop their own, poorly operational sex-bots with open-source design that crashed right before their user achieved orgasm. The only threat they would pose would be to the poor bastards who owned them.

I don't know how, but I'm sure that there is already research on the way to create android tentacle monsters with realistic expressions.

I've seen more and less impressive things in my life. Come back when we've all been hacked into little pieces by a horde of chainsaw wielding androids that have symmetrical noses and non-lumpy faces.
