An edited version of a question I asked Neo B, who ignored it. Are you able to answer all of my points without either admitting that the government SHOULD allow secular gay marriage (or gay marriage by religions who do NOT oppose it) or lying?
Why should the morals of your religion take precedence over the morals of mine, especially considering that we have a secular government? How does their behavior of loving each other and being in a committed relationship while of the legal age of majority not entitle them to marriage? Not marriage in your church, but a purely secular marriage or one conducted by the clergy of a religion that doesn't object to gay marriage.
