My list is really similar, actually, although not necessarily in that order.

I probably shouldn't admit this, but I also listen to a lot of classical music--Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, and Shostakovich come to mind. My favorite modern composer might be Phillip Glass.

My list:

Bloc Party - One of my favourite bands of all time. Have all 3 of their albums and in my opinion, Album 1 (Silent Alarm) and Album 3 (Intimacy) are their best albums. Album 2 ( A Weekend In The City) was alright but kind of steered the band away from what they did best.

Elbow - Only own Album number 4 (The Seldom Seen Kid) after being told they were a good band. They are. It is my Sunday Album in the sense that it is a slow album but has some great gems and also the album that got them mainstream success. Highly recommended. I am now going to buy their previous 3 albums which I hear are also good.

Those are the bands I'm listening to most at the moment. The others include:

Kings of Leon
Queens Of The Stone Age
Nirvana
Foo Fighters
Kaiser Chiefs
Muse
The Killers
Letters From London
Faithless
Weezer
Smashing Pumpkins

Both are good. Obviously, the production on both is a bit more rough, and they aren't quite as brilliant as the second album. The songs on the EP are slightly better than the first album, but if its a case of buying it, well its probably not worth paying over the odds to get your hands on something with only four songs:p
