I believe that's a hand, probably belonging to a white male between the ages of 16 and 30.
Although it is somewhat difficult to see, because there's this lizard in the way. Have you got any pictures without the lizard?

I'm not sure, but it looks like a young "horned toad," which is actually a type of lizard. He also looks kinda skinny -- maybe he needs a swarm of some nice fat flies!

Well see that is why he needed identification. He might have thought it was a snake my earlier post corrected him.

Vittos hold in their mate, someone will eventually give you the answer you seek.

Looks like a White-Specked Desert Lizard. Highly poisonous, shouldn't be tou- oops.

Yes, I suspected a gecko as well, but was unsure about that and definitely didn't know what kind.

I live in an apartment complex in northern Georgia. I suspect it found its way out of somebody else's apartment. I will try and reunite it with its proper owners, but I'm hoping I don't find them.

Well, that's an ordinary Mountain Dew, which means this lizard beast is surely like two or three feet in length and maybe five inches in body diameter.

Also, you have a giant hand. You should play basketball and bat the other players into the net with your hand.

Well, there's a sure way to find out....

Has he been hanging around Neanderthals, and has he tried to sell you auto, home, motorhome or motorcycle insurance yet?

don't forget the Bud Light box and brown Sharpie Marking Pen in the first pic.

and the surge protector

I ID the room as being the Kitchen.

As to the OP. Where did you pick up the lil fella? would help in IDing him.

I totally thought this was going to be a thread about herpes, and I was like, jeez, how many threads on herpes do we actually need in the lifespan of NSG, what a copy cat is that Vittos!

Then I looked it up. Carry on.

It indeed is the kitchen of my apartment, although the white cord you see is not a surge protector but the cord to a crock pot.

You may continue speculating.

I live in No. Georgia, and I found him outside the apartment very near my building. I do imagine he is someone's pet, but I doubt I will put too much of a search on to find the owner, since their care put it in a rather precarious position to begin with.

If this had been a thread about herpes, I imagine the first post which consisted of "Please identify this" and a couple of pictures would have been my last on NSG.

I was a little trepiditious about clicking on the links...it could of course have been something around the mouth, finger, or other non-obviously sexual locations.

I already identified it. It's a house gecko, and it's endemic to the southeastern United States.
