Good Drinking (or drunk) Music

So, I'm listening to the Dresden Dolls right now. Karaoke is nice too, but I don't really feel like braving the city(aka, new york) on a Saturday niht right now.
Pianos and emotional delivery (Dolls, Casey Dienel) or terrible versions of popular songs (drunk japanese people) seems to be my preference in general.
What other music goes well with drinking and/or/also being drunk?

Anything by the Grateful Dead. Much more easily understood and appreciated if you're stoned or drunk.

Korpiklaani is always a good choice.

AC/DC pretty much defines pub rock. Country works pretty well in the bars too.

Between the Buried and Me - Colors seems to be this evenings choice. Last night was assorted rap. Varies by mood and company.

Whatever music you listen to normally. You get more into it when drunk.

I would approve if I married your father. And since you are Canadian, I would be allowed to!

Hmmm, last night it was a variety of "Guitar Hero" tracks, the movie "Halloween" and a dude getting his behind waxed. Don't ask.

Generally I don't pick the music in the places I get drunk, so I don't really have favourites (the music taste of 99% of the population sucks). I assume I'd just listen to the same stuff I listen to when I'm sober.

I remember listening to Depeche Mode at around 4am once. Then the neighbours started hammering on the door threatening to call the police - which we didn't hear. One of our sleeping flatmates woke up and heard them. Instead of shutting up up we fucked off to the university campus with shot glass and bottle in hand. We got into a computer lab and plugged in our ipod to the room's sound-system/tannoy/whatever-it-is. Finally fell asleep on a row of swivel chairs. Fun times.

Though next time I think we'd probably go to a lecture theatre and have a laptop to hand. That way we can use the speakers and the humongous projector to play music videos as well. :)

I've always been a fan of the jazz band Hiroshima...nothing quite symbolizes a good night of smoking and drinking like the sounds of Japanese jazz fusion in my book. It's better suited for kicking back with a group of people as opposed to a party, but in that kind of situation it's just ideal.

As a matter of fact, I'm sobering up from a night of relaxing debauchery right now.

Jason Webley, particularly his drinking song:

The glass is full, drink up, drink up
This may be the last time we see this cup
If God wanted us sober
He'd knock the glass over
So while it is full we drink up, drink up

Ya da di
Ya da da
Ya da di
Ya da, da da

This song is rendered even better at live shows, where he gets the whole audience really wasted to sing along.

Nick Cave also has some good ones, such as "Brother, my cup is empty".

For when you're really drunk:

The Doors' Roadhouse Blues, Soul Kitchen, The End,
Silly Wizard's The Rambling Rover,
Fairport Convention's Meet Me On The Ledge, Matty Groves, Tam Lin, The Card Song,
Led Zeppelin's Dazed & Confused, & Comunication Breakdown,
Pink Floyd's Bike.

More songs. Too tired now.

Dropkick Murphey's
Flogging Molly
Ram Jam
ZZ Top
AC/DC

Errrmmm pretty much classic rock in general, as well as a good portion of country if you can stomach it.

I tend to listen to Cold Chisel.

DUDE! When did you get back?

EDIT: On topic... I'm-a go with Dropkick Murphy's, and possibly some of Amanda Palmer's stuff. Partly because it's the only music I listen to regularly that's not really well refined and crisp, whilst still being kick-ass awesome. That tends to sit well with me when I'm drunk.

Hey, hey yes not to mention John Farnham and AC/DC

While Cliche this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fm4iU0yx9GY or almost anything from the 90's just for a bit of fun.

If it is more than just drinking then I would chuck on Chemical Brothers, Bloc Party, Daft Punk or just chuck on one of my Ministry of Sound albums.
