Favorite singers that, although you like them, scare you.

I was on the metro earlier today, deaf to the world with music from my iPod, and I started listening to Nina Hagen. I admit I like her a lot, but then I stared at the picture of hers that I got for album art and I shuddered. This got me thinking, NSG, are there any singers or artists for that matter, that even when you like them, they scare you?
Mine are:
Nina Hagen
Der Graf (Unheilig)
Alexx Wesselsky (Eisbrecher)
Till Liederman (Rammstein)
Dir en Grey´s singer
Sakurai Atsushi (Buck-Tick)
Fartsniffage

Scatman John (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=mpHLEm9-0bg) - awesome and fun, but he seems creepy to me.

Bjork doesn't really scare me, I just find her disturbing. And disturbed.
Tricky scares me. He's freaky looking and so damned talented!
Henry Rollins 15-20 years ago would have scared me. Not a man to mess with.
Tom Waits scares me. He has an aura of creepiness about him.
Iggy Pop 30 years ago wouldn't so much have scared me, just freaked me out with his intensity and energy.
Nick Cave, just cause he's so effing weird-looking.

No, he isn't, a lot of Radiohead's music is pointlessly conceited and/or terrible. Pablo Honey, anyone?

Some of his music isn't that terible. Listen to 1973 from All the Lost Souls. It's actually quite good, and went global Number 1

I'm just going hope that you all missed the "favorite" part.
Anyway, Angel Gossow (of Arch Enemy) doesn't look like that much in pictures, but it was simply unreal to see her stomping around the stage and bellowing over the crowd like some sort of psychopathic dinosaur.
Courtney Love
David Banner
Henry Rollins (seconded.)
DMX

Bjork. I think I ever hit on her, she'd snap off my penis and club me until I got brain damage. But she's got a super-cool voice.
Wayne Coyne. I imagine him grinning cheerily even as my body inched further towards the magnificently enamelled flesh-grinding machine he keeps in his brightly coloured house.
And Tom Waits. Anyone with that voice has seen some terrible, terrible things.

Joe Cocker. His convulsions on stage are unnerving.
Then again, he can win over even the most hardened skeptic when he's on his game.

Ute Lemper. Great voice, but the eyes, they are too intense. Also, she loves the leather pants a little too much.
I'm not really scared by any musicians I like... is that odd?

Frank Sinatra because he probably could have had you killed. Ian Curtis was quite unnerving. John Martyn has always felt like he was capable of violence if he took against you.

Heh... well again I know little of their background, just their music. ;)
i'm totally baffled as to what "scare" means in this context.
i mean, most of the music i like ether sounds strainge or is about strainge things.
a lyric that prepetuates mundaneness to me borders on offensive.
that's why i don't generally like genre's that romantacize aggressiveness, (such as 'country' and 'rap').
but what's to be scared of, other then being brainwashed by it, about a recording of someone singing about something?
maybe scarry that a lot of people might be brainwashed by it. this is more a problem with 'talk radio' then with anyone singing about anything.
