Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens has been found guilty on all charges today by a jury of his peers:

The jury found Stevens guilty of "knowingly and willfully" scheming to conceal on Senate disclosure forms more than $250,000 in home renovations and other gifts from an Alaska-based oil industry contractor.

Stevens faces a maximum sentence of up to to 35 years in prison -- five years for each of the seven counts.

So, thoughts? How will this impact the coming election now a week away, with Stevens being a republican, and an Alaskan, like Palin?

Seriously? won't affect who I vote for. I'll be looking at Palin, not Stevens. and guilty by asssociation smacks too much like the Republicans tactics.

Over the last few years, Alaska has come to my attention and I don't like it. I have invested a sizeable portion of my clowny powers to making Alaska suffer and it seems to be paying dividends. :)

It's not like Palin needs any help to make herself look rather dubious. She's perfectly capable of doing so herself.
