The Glowing Cat, Just In Time for Halloween!

The 6-month-old feline may look like a standard-issue orange tabby in the comfort of daylight, but he turns a ghoulish shade of fluorescent green under the shroud of darkness!

So, the sticky situation of genetic research. Is genetic research ethical? The next step for medicine? The right step for medicine? Is this even ethical treatment of this animal? Please, discuss.

That cat is not going on hunting by night anymore. Any prey will be able to detect the predator easily.

Just for home cats, I guess.

oh great, the USa government puts million into genetic research, and all they show us is a Halloween cat

at any rate, what practical use would having other living things glow in the dark do, are they planning on having human flashlights?

tell us when they genetically modify other living things to emit electricity like electric eels, now THAT will be cool

on the flip side, we all know that whatever USA is doing, that Russia is doing the same thing but with better results

also, as I remember some of the old x-men cartoons, there was this one morlock mutant that could control mud and make it do lots of stuff, like
form walls, turn into ropes and tie people up, and stuff
Lets genetically modify Lunatic Goofballs to have this power to make him Lord of the mud

That's what the laser beams attached to it's head are for.

Yes to all of these questions, without a doubt. Anything that benefits science benefits us all.

You all realize you'll need a UV light in order to make it glow right? Under normal light or darkness, it's not going to glow.
