PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Police sources tell KDKA that a campaign worker has now confessed to making up a story that a mugger attacked her and cut the letter "B" in her face after seeing her McCain bumper sticker.

Ashley Todd, 20, of Texas, initially told police that she was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield and that the suspect became enraged and started beating her after seeing her GOP sticker on her car.

Police investigating the alleged attack, however, began to notice some inconsistencies in her story and administered a polygraph test.

Authorities, however, declined to release the results of that test.

Investigators did say that they received photos from the ATM machine and "the photographs were verified as not being the victim making the transaction."

This afternoon, a Pittsburgh police commander told KDKA Investigator Marty Griffin that [b]Todd confessed to making up the story.[b]

Sort of takes the wind out of Hotwife's sails, eh?

But this is the part that confused me, and it's probably due to a weak understanding of the law, but:

The commander added that Todd will face charges; but police have not commented on what those charges will be.

What sort of charges could she be brought up on?

According to the police, it's barely a stratch. Almost like if you took the point of a knife and dragged it across your skin repeatedly. It would redden your skin, but it certainly wouldn't scar. I think any "treatment" of the wound that would result in obvious scarring would involve assaulting her.

And had police not proven the story as a desperate partisan bunk, the McCain Mob would be screaming out "See? This is further proof that Dirty Moslem ****** Bastard is friends with terrorists!"

even better, it turns out the mccain campaign itself actually was pushing the story for just that reason. like the editors noted on the poorman awhile back, it turns out that these rats are more than willing to fuck themselves. in fact, it all looks sorta like a party-wide cry for help at this point.

This is disgusting.... some mccain campaign worker lied about being attacked because she was a McCain Palin supporter. She claimed originally that a 6"4 black man who said he was a barack Obama supporter robbed here of 60 bucks then when he saw her car had a mccain palin stick he attacked her and but a backwards "B" over her face.... the she later admitted she was lying....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6htH1vsTLbI&feature=related

This is low... I mean seriously.... and how typical of her to blame the back man. As a black person myself I am deeply offended as this further highlights that racism is still alive and well. After the "muslim, arab, socialist, terrorist loving kenyan born" chatter coming through the mcpalin rally I thought maybe this crap has ended so we can just continue with the issues.. then this happened...

Imagine had this young lady continued to lie, some innocent man would have been locked up or even worse, attacked by a mcpalin nationalist mob....

I seriously hope this woman pays for these lies.... no wait I also hope she gets help... and shes kept on suicide watch.

Six-foot-four black male?

That's a popular description...Indeed. Anyone that wants to report a violent crime and needs a scapegoat picks the big, black man.

According to the police, it's barely a stratch. Almost like if you took the point of a knife and dragged it across your skin repeatedly. It would redden your skin, but it certainly wouldn't scar. I think any "treatment" of the wound that would result in obvious scarring would involve assaulting her.

And it already looks healed to me.

Anyone seen a "B" carved into that face? I sure don't.

Not if you're doing a Nazi swastika. then the outer 'flanges' have to point clockwise.

But if you're just drawing runes or a broken cross, then you can do whichever you wish.

Or a proper Svastika.

But there's no such thing as a backwards swaztika. It's "correct" no matter which way the points are pointing.
This is not true.

Oh yea! The whole swastika debate for the umpteenth millionth time.

As "swastika" is a transliteration of the Sanskrit, the Dharmic religions have first claim to the word "swastika". They use the symbol in both the left and right handed forms. I see both forms on a daily basis.

The swastika is a cross with its arms bent at right angles to either the right or left. In geometric terms, it is known as an irregular icosagon or 20-sided polygon.

The word is derived from the Sanskrit "svastika" and means "good to be". In Indo-European culture it was a mark made on people or objects to give them good luck.

It has been around for thousands of years, particularly as a Hindu symbol in the holy texts, to mean luck, Brahma or samsara (rebirth).

Nowadays it is commonly seen in Indian artwork and current and ancient Hindu architecture, and in the ruins of the ancient city of Troy. It has also been used in Buddhism and Jainism, plus other Asian, European and Native American cultures.http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/4183467.stm

Maybe you'd like to tell The World Red Swastika Society (http://www.jprss.org/) they're using something other than a swastika for their website:

Yep. And those ads had an added irony in that they were painting Obama as a product of one of the oldest, most well established, political machines in the country, at the same time as McCain was trying to paint Obama as a political neophyte with hardly any real world experience. He corrected the woman by telling her that Obama is a decent man, not an Arab. Both McCain and Palin after that made certain to make the distinction that Obama is neither a Muslim nor an Arab, but rather a good American who loves his family. Because everyone knows (a) all Arabs are Muslims and all Muslims are Arabs (not true) and (b) it is not possible for an Arab/Muslim to be a decent person, good, American, or to love their families (not true).

As for the part about whether Obama is a terrorist, no, McCain did not correct that lie. Rather, he has done his best to promote, hoping to profit from it in votes.

As for gay marriage, neither party has a good record on that.
