You're not old. Now that I know how old you are, I'm declaring retroactive war on all the posts where you claimed to be old. Otherwise I'm old, too, and that just isn't possible.*

Coolest thing I've found on the internet is probably my ex-girlfriend, who was not only gorgeous and ridiculously cool, but also introduced me to great bands and shared my love of boytouching. She was also crazy, but all women are kind of crazy.

*After running at school with the kids today (it was a fundraiser thing) I was really hot, so I put my hair up in a ponytail, and one of them told me I didn't look like "me" with my hair like that. She said I looked... kind of... and I could tell she realized what she was going to say might be an insult, so I just said, "Like a kid?" And all of my students were like, "Yeah!" -_-

This thing (http://www.beerdolier.com/) looks pretty handy. I found the Pish Dolls (http://www.pishdolls.co.uk/home.html) on YouTube a long way back but that's still the internet so it counts. This place is good (http://www.surfthechannel.com/) if you missed an episode of your favourite TV show.

Webcomics eh.

I only read a couple religiously.

El Goonish Shive (http://www.egscomics.com/). I know, it just sounds weird. But actually... well, it really is weird. But that should be no obstacle to this crowd. :p

Darths and Droids (http://www.darthsanddroids.net/). A hilarious riff on Star Wars in the form of a screencap webcomic that wonders "What if Star Wars was a tabletop RPG campaign".

Also, to those saying "porn" no-one really watches porn on the internet, it doesn't even really exist. Stop perpetuating the myth.

That accurately describes most webcomics.
One of the few exceptions is Sluggy Freelance (www.sluggy.com) which manages decent drama, some great gags and several addictive storylines. Although even Sluggy has lame, filler story arcs (like the Bacon stuff going on right now) and shitty guest writers.

The coolest thing, though, is a toss up between TV Tropes (www.tvtropes.org) or Nexus War. (www.nexuswar.com)
