BUSH'S RESIGNATION SPEECH
The following 'speech' was written recently by an ordinary Maine-iac [a resident of the People's Republic of Maine ]. While satirical in nature, all satire must have a basis in fact to be effective. This is an excellent piece by a person who does not write for a living.

The speech George W. Bush might give:

Normally, I start these things out by saying 'My Fellow Americans.' Not doing it this time. If the polls are any indication, I don't know who more than half of you are anymore. I do know something terrible has happened, and that you're really not fellow Americans any longer.
I'll cut right to the chase here: I quit. Now before anyone gets all in a lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or something, let me assure you: There's been no breaking of laws or impeachable offenses in this office.

The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people. I'm fed up because you have no understanding of what's really going on in the world. Or of what's going on in this once-great nation of ours. And the majority of you are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out.
Let's start local. You've been sold a bill of goods by politicians and the news media.

Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you are too damn stupid to realize that gas prices are high because there's increased demand in other parts of the world, and because a small handful of noisy idiots are more worried about polar bears and beachfront property than your economic security.

We face real threats in the world. Don't give me this 'blood for oil' thing. If I were trading blood for oil I would've already seized Iraq 's oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell. And don't give me this 'Bush Lied...People Died' crap either. If I were the liar you morons take me for, I could've easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be 'discovered.' Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty.

Let me remind you that the rest of the world thought Saddam had the goods, same as me. Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq was official US policy before I came into office. Some guy named ' Clinton ' established that policy. Bet you didn't know that, did you?
Now some of you morons want to be led by a junior senator with no understanding of foreign policy or economics, and this nitwit says we should attack Pakistan , a nuclear ally. And then he wants to go to Iran and make peace with a terrorist who says he's going to destroy us. While he's doing that, he wants to give Iraq to al Qaeda, Afghanistan to the Taliban, Israel to the Palestinians, and your money to the IRS so the government can give welfare to illegal aliens, who he will make into citizens, so they can vote to re-elect him. He also thinks it's okay for Iran to have nuclear weapons, and we should stop our foreign aid to Israel . Did you sleep through high school?

You idiots need to understand that we face a unique enemy. Back during the cold war, there were two major competing political and economic models squaring off. We won that war, but we did so because fundamentally, the Communists wanted to survive, just as we do. We were simply able to out spend and out-tech them.

That's not the case this time. The soldiers of our new enemy don't care if they survive. In fact, they want to die. That'd be fine, as long as they weren't also committed to taking as many of you with them as they can. But they are. They want to kill you, and the bastards are all over the globe.

You should be grateful that they haven't gotten any more of us here in the United States since September 11. But you're not. That's because you've got no idea how hard a small number of intelligence, military, law enforcement, and homeland security people have worked to make sure of that. When this whole mess started, I warned you that this would be a long and difficult fight. I'm disappointed how many of you people think a long and difficult fight amounts to a single season of 'Survivor.'

Instead, you've grown impatient. You're incapable of seeing things through the long lens of history, the way our enemies do. You think that wars should last a few months, a few years, tops.

Making matters worse, you actively support those who help the enemy. Every time you buy the New York Times, every time you send a donation to a cut-and-run Democrat's political campaign, well, dang it, you might just as well FedEx a grenade launcher to a Jihadist. It amounts to the same thing.

In this day and age, it's easy enough to find the truth. It's all over the Internet. It just isn't on the pages of the New York Times, USA Today, or on NBC News. But even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter. Most of you would rather watch American Idol or Dancing with Stars.

I could say more about your expectations that the government will always be there to bail you out, even if you're too stupid to leave a city that's below sea level and has a hurricane approaching.

I could say more about your insane belief that government, not your own wallet, is where the money comes from. But I've come to the conclusion that were I to do so, it would sail right over your heads.

So I quit. I'm going back to Crawford. I've got an energy-efficient house down there (Al Gore could only dream) and the capability to be fully self-sufficient for years. No one ever heard of Crawford before I got elected, and as soon as I'm done here pretty much no one will ever hear of it again. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to die of old age before the last pillars of America fall.

Oh, and by the way, Cheney's quitting too. That means Pelosi is your new President. You asked for it. Watch what she does carefully, because I still have a glimmer of hope that there are just enough of you remaining who are smart enough to turn this thing around in 2008.

So that's it. God bless what's left of America .

Some of you know what I mean. The rest of you, kiss off.

Him/Her not writing for a living shows.

The speech George W. Bush might give:

Normally, I start these things out by saying 'My Fellow Americans.' Not doing it this time. If the polls are any indication, I don't know who more than half of you are anymore. I do know something terrible has happened, and that you're really not fellow Americans any longer.
Apparently it is un-American to disagree with ones leadership. The Founder Fathers are rolling in their graves.

I'll cut right to the chase here: I quit. Now before anyone gets all in a lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or something, let me assure you: There's been no breaking of laws or impeachable offenses in this office.

Really? Because anyone with any grasp of the Constitution would disagree. In fact, the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) has. Several times. Starting with Rasul v Bush (2004) where the Supreme Court ruled that denying “enemy combatants” their rights to challenges their imprisonment was illegal and unconstitutional. It also ruled that the constitution did indeed apply to foreign citizens. It has since ruled against Mr. Bush on several other cases, such as holding them without evidence, making them go through Military tribunals rather than through domestic criminal courts, etc.
Also, it has been proven and all but acknowledged that this administration has engaged in torture. Which the Constitution prohibits (see Amendment VIII). And since SCOTUS ruled that the Constitution does indeed apply to foreign citizens, well, one does not have to be a Harvard Law graduate to see were this is going.
Oh, and enough with the crap about the Executive Branch not having the law apply to them like this idiot for a president keeps claiming. Liberal democracies can only exist when their leaders are not above the law. “Where law ends tyranny begins.” That’s a quote by John Locke in Two Treaties on Government. He was one of the darlings of the Founding Fathers.

The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people. I'm fed up because you have no understanding of what's really going on in the world. Or of what's going on in this once-great nation of ours. And the majority of you are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out.
The implication that the American people aren’t doing their homework is laughable, especially considering that this person has not done any of theirs. In fact, I would question whether this person ever had any formal schooling were homework would have ever been due.

YES! Damn the environment! While we’re at it, let’s just continue our addiction to oil by drilling domestically. What should a heroin addict do when heroin gets too expensive for him? Why, grow the poppy himself! That’s sound judgment.
But the environment doesn’t really matter, because all the faithful will be raptured before Global Warming happens anyway.

We face real threats in the world. Don't give me this 'blood for oil' thing. If I were trading blood for oil I would've already seized Iraq 's oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell.
Which is in essence what he has done in part. Under the guise of defending the Iraqis economic future of course.
And don't give me this 'Bush Lied...People Died' crap either. If I were the liar you morons take me for, I could've easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be 'discovered.' Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty.
So, he owned up rather then committed what would amount to a crime if done domestically? Good for him.
He did, however, lie about the Saddam-Bin Laden connection.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5223932/
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/09/14/AR2006091401545.html

Let me remind you that the rest of the world thought Saddam had the goods, same as me. Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq was official US policy before I came into office. Some guy named ' Clinton ' established that policy. Bet you didn't know that, did you?
The rest of the world? Is this guy serious? Is the US, Britain, Spain, and Australia (and a few small third world countries that were just sucking up to the big kids on the block). Never mind that France, Germany, Russia, China, almost every country in the Middle East, and the UN said that they didn’t have any WMDs.
Now some of you morons want to be led by a junior senator with no understanding of foreign policy or economics, and this nitwit says we should attack Pakistan , a nuclear ally. And then he wants to go to Iran and make peace with a terrorist who says he's going to destroy us.
As opposed to a senile old man and his beauty pageant lackey who are going so far now as to incite race riots in their efforts to win the White House? Oh, and let’s not forget that Palin agreed with Obama on Pakistan ( http://tariqnelson.com/2008/09/29/palin-agrees-with-obama-on-pakistan/ ) , but that was before John McCain retracted her statement for her with what amounted to him saying, “Shhh. Be quiet Sarah. Men are talking.”
Oh, and let’s not forget that at around midnight last night (Central Time) a Republican controlled, Alaskan Senate voted unanimously that Gov. Palin abused her powers:
http://www.abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=6004368&page=1
There is a link in there to the full report in case you don’t trust the Evil Liberal Media™
And finally, this guys right. What a pussy. Who tries to make peace and use diplomacy?

While he's doing that, he wants to give Iraq to al Qaeda, Afghanistan to the Taliban, Israel to the Palestinians, and your money to the IRS so the government can give welfare to illegal aliens, who he will make into citizens, so they can vote to re-elect him. He also thinks it's okay for Iran to have nuclear weapons, and we should stop our foreign aid to Israel . Did you sleep through high school?

Yep. Because those 400,000 Iraqi soldiers we trained would roll over and let Al Qaeda take Iraq. Oh, and Obama wants to put MORE troops in Afghanistan. And never has said we should stop giving support to Israel. Nor has he said that we supports a nuclear Iran. I wonder if the writer of this article has been paying attention? Again, for someone who talks about people needing to do their homework, he sure does none of his own.

Oh, and Obama doesn’t plan on raising my taxes, or yours:
http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/more_tax_deceptions.html

There is no evidence that Bush’s policies have made us “safer”. Two years after 9/11, he went into Iraq. Why spend the money and effort to attack us here when you can go to Iraq to kill Americans? Besides, 9/11 worked out for them pretty well. They made everyone afraid and destroyed our standing around the world. We’re an international pariah. It probably worked better then they hoped.
When this whole mess started, I warned you that this would be a long and difficult fight. I'm disappointed how many of you people think a long and difficult fight amounts to a single season of 'Survivor.'
Yes, to be fair, he did say the “War on Terror” would be a long and difficult fight. But no one is tired of the War on Terror. We’re tired of the war in Iraq. Which he said the exact opposite about. He said it would be short, easy, over quickly. Cheney said we’d be “greeted as liberators”.

Instead, you've grown impatient. You're incapable of seeing things through the long lens of history, the way our enemies do. You think that wars should last a few months, a few years, tops.
Incapable of seeing through the long lenses of history? Really? Considering how many mistakes of history Dubya has repeated, such as funding extremists to fight our enemies, and then having them turn on us, hell, even invading Iraq, which simply watching Apocalypse Now or Platoon would have shown him the similarities of what he was about to do.

Making matters worse, you actively support those who help the enemy. Every time you buy the New York Times, every time you send a donation to a cut-and-run Democrat's political campaign, well, dang it, you might just as well FedEx a grenade launcher to a Jihadist. It amounts to the same thing.
You know, I should be used to being told I’m anti-American for disagreeing with Bush after 8 years. I really should. But it’s still insulting, mostly because of how blatantly wrong it is. Last I checked, this country was founded on disagreeing with the establishment. If the Founding Fathers were alive today they would be insulted. In fact, they’d probably disagree with him too, considering many of them were against the US involving itself too much in world affairs.
And no, it doesn’t amount to the same thing. I’m giving you enough credit Victor to see that.

In this day and age, it's easy enough to find the truth. It's all over the Internet. It just isn't on the pages of the New York Times, USA Today, or on NBC News. But even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter. Most of you would rather watch American Idol or Dancing with Stars.

It is all over the internet. That’s how I found all the information showing how wrong this guy is. Well, that and actually getting an education.
I also adore the implication that Americans are suddenly mindless idiots. While I will be the first to agree that the average American as not too bright, I find it funny that when Bush won reelection in 2004, this guy wasn’t out there talking about how stupid Americans were. In fact, he probably thought we were pretty damn smart.

Considering Bush inherited a surplus from Clinton and has now put us in record debt, I think it’s safe to say he has no idea where money comes from either.

Last pillar of America falls? If it does, it would only be from the explosives Bush and his administration planted at its foundation.

Oh, and by the way, Cheney's quitting too. That means Pelosi is your new President. You asked for it. Watch what she does carefully, because I still have a glimmer of hope that there are just enough of you remaining who are smart enough to turn this thing around in 2008.
Amusing how this is prefaced with “Read this no matter who your voting for!” and then it essentially amounts to a “McCain/Palin ‘08” ad that does nothing but demonize and insult the opposition. In fact, I kind of wonder if this was written by John McCain.

So that's it. God bless what's left of America .

Some of you know what I mean. The rest of you, kiss off.

Oh boy. How childish.

PS - You might want to start learning Farsi, and buy a Koran.

Have I ever told you how much I love scaremongering? “Without Bush, we’d all be Muslim extremists!” Indeed, without Bush, I’m sure we all would be under Sharia. I better get practice beating my wife for showing her face in public without a veil, since it seems that we’re screwed once Bush leaves office in January. And it doesn’t look like his sycophant is going to win either:

Well I could respond but I think KoL has done a pretty decent job on most of the points. One stood out for me though:

I could say more about your expectations that the government will always be there to bail you out, even if you're too stupid to leave a city that's below sea level and has a hurricane approaching.

What? WHAT? Is he honestly trying to blame the citizens of New Orleans for hurricane Katrina. Especially when it was the government's duty (federal or state I'm not sure, but I'm certain it was someone's job) to ensure the levees didn't break. Seriously? Isn't that what the government is for, to protect the people from those acts they cannot realistically plan for or protect themselves from (Act of God TM)? What next, is he going to claim that the victims of the Tsumani were to blame because they were stupid enough to build their houses along the coast-line?

Or to put it more eloquently: the citizens of New Orleans at the time had no indication that the levees would not hold (as they had through previous hurricanes) or that the devastation would be as severe as it was. It was an unexpected and freak occurrence which the average citizen had no way of predicting. Maybe those with more information as to the exact strength of the storm, the relevant geographical features and the resistance of the levees may have been able to... ah wait, weren't they working for the government?

BUSH'S RESIGNATION SPEECH
The following 'speech' was written recently by an ordinary Maine-iac [a resident of the People's Republic of Maine ].
Ah, nothing starts off a good satirical piece like a communism reference! (Why not Vermont? At least Vermont is actually vaguely close to the idea, unlike Maine.)

While satirical in nature, all satire must have a basis in fact to be effective. This is an excellent piece by a person who does not write for a living.
I'll be the judge of that.

The speech George W. Bush might give:

Normally, I start these things out by saying 'My Fellow Americans.' Not doing it this time. If the polls are any indication, I don't know who more than half of you are anymore. I do know something terrible has happened, and that you're really not fellow Americans any longer.
Why, fuck you too, Bush. I love the idea that I'm a traitor, that I'm not American because I use my right to free speech, because I'm joining the Navy, because I'm committed to making America as good as it can be...

Oh, wait. I guess I'm not a traitor after all.

I'll cut right to the chase here: I quit. Now before anyone gets all in a lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or something, let me assure you: There's been no breaking of laws or impeachable offenses in this office.

Oh? So nothing about Guantanamo Bay rings a bell? How about misleading the American people with faulty and/or faked/intentionally misinterpreted intelligence? How about Abu Graib? How about getting over four thousand Americans and close to 100,000 Iraqis killed over a "mistake"?

The list can go on for some time, but this is off the top of my head folks.

The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people. I'm fed up because you have no understanding of what's really going on in the world. Or of what's going on in this once-great nation of ours. And the majority of you are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out.
I agree. A large number of Americans are quite ignorant. Thankfully, they're actually becoming more willing to listen and correct themselves, no thanks to people like you.

Let's start local. You've been sold a bill of goods by politicians and the news media.
:eek2:

Butbutbut you said you've never done anything wrong! Fox News is king!

...

Oh, wait, you're talking about Democrats and CNN, NBC, etc, huh?

(Note: I am not in any way saying Democrats or the corporate media outlets of CNN and NBC are incapable of misleading the American people. I am simply saying that in this case, they're not the ones doing it.)

Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you are too damn stupid to realize that gas prices are high because there's increased demand in other parts of the world, and because a small handful of noisy idiots are more worried about polar bears and beachfront property than your economic security.
Actually, gas prices are high because oil prices are higher, because oil production is running down because it's reached its peak across the world for the most part. They're also high because of overcharging by a few oil companies who took advantage of the already high price of oil to add in surcharges and hoped no one would notice.

Environmental activists are not responsible for higher gas prices, and I'll thank you not to accuse us of that again.

(Also, we're whining because a lot of us are seriously feeling a lot of hurt from these higher gas prices. I personally am not, but a lot are, and those that are have the right to complain.)

We face real threats in the world. Don't give me this 'blood for oil' thing. If I were trading blood for oil I would've already seized Iraq 's oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell.
That'd be a stupid way to do it and you know it. Besides, why put Americans full in charge of controlling oil production when it makes more sense to just ensure that those that are responsible for oil production are more friendly to American interests--especially business interests--than those previously in control?

And don't give me this 'Bush Lied...People Died' crap either. If I were the liar you morons take me for, I could've easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be 'discovered.' Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty.

Only after it was very much made obvious beyond even the shadow of your doubt, despite the fact that most other intelligence services were SCREAMING about there no longer being any weapons of mass destruction, etc etc.

Besides, if I were Saddam, and my country was being invaded by the United States? I'd have gone full out with every weapon I had. The fact that they didn't should've been enough to say it outright.

Let me remind you that the rest of the world thought Saddam had the goods, same as me.
Actually, no, no they didn't.

Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq was official US policy before I came into office. Some guy named ' Clinton ' established that policy. Bet you didn't know that, did you?
Removing Saddam from power? Sure.

You know, actually, most of us will agree that he should have been removed from power. The thing is, we didn't think that was important right now, especially since what was more important was trying to clamp down on the Islamic extremism from people such as Bin Laden.

Instead, you took us in a completely different direction that had nothing to do with the people who attacked us, that was very badly mismanaged, and that has made us weaker and made terrorists much stronger.

...

In my worst nightmares I wonder if that wasn't intentional, if it was done to ensure that American defense contractors and a great many people who want to hold power in politics would have their boogeyman for some time to come...

Now some of you morons want to be led by a junior senator with no understanding of foreign policy or economics, and this nitwit says we should attack Pakistan , a nuclear ally.
No, actually, all he would do is attack a very specific place if we knew that Bin Laden and/or his higher up people in Al Queda was there and the Pakistani officials were unwilling or unable to act.

In other words, he'd do exactly what you guys wanted Clinton to do. I seem to recall some sort of "documentary" about the Clinton administration having Bin Laden in their sights and refusing to take him out, and you guys being extremely upset about it.

Yet Obama wants to do the very same thing, and now you're upset that he will? Doublethink much?

And then he wants to go to Iran and make peace with a terrorist who says he's going to destroy us.
We're not at war with Iran, and frankly, I'd like to keep it that way.

What he wants to do is basically to get the Iranians to shut up with their ridiculousness and prevent them from doing anything.

While he's doing that, he wants to give Iraq to al Qaeda,
Incorrect
Afghanistan to the Taliban,
Also incorrect
Israel to the Palestinians,
Most assuredly incorrect.(Though he does want them to live in peace.)

Seriously, have you not been listening to what he actually says at all? I point you to any of his speeches on these topics, as well as both of the debates he has participated in thus far.

and your money to the IRS so the government can give welfare to illegal aliens, who he will make into citizens, so they can vote to re-elect him.

Honestly? Honestly, you really think that? Please. That's just...that's just ridiculous.

He also thinks it's okay for Iran to have nuclear weapons,
OH FOR FUCK'S SAKE!

The world must work to stop Iran’s uranium enrichment program and prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. It is far too dangerous to have nuclear weapons in the hands of a radical theocracy.

and we should stop our foreign aid to Israel .
He didn't say that either.

Did you sleep through high school?

That'd be a trick. Also, nonsequiter lolwhat?

You idiots need to understand that we face a unique enemy. Back during the cold war, there were two major competing political and economic models squaring off. We won that war, but we did so because fundamentally, the Communists wanted to survive, just as we do. We were simply able to out spend and out-tech them.
Which was mainly because we encourage freedom of thought and action to a much greater degree than they do.

Freedom, I point out, which you've labeled time and again as "traitorous."

That's not the case this time. The soldiers of our new enemy don't care if they survive. In fact, they want to die. That'd be fine, as long as they weren't also committed to taking as many of you with them as they can. But they are. They want to kill you, and the bastards are all over the globe.

True. But this has been true for a far longer time than you seem to realize.

You should be grateful that they haven't gotten any more of us here in the United States since September 11. But you're not.
Well, actually, I am.

That's because you've got no idea how hard a small number of intelligence, military, law enforcement, and homeland security people have worked to make sure of that.
Actually, I do, but thanks for calling me ignorant.

When this whole mess started, I warned you that this would be a long and difficult fight. I'm disappointed how many of you people think a long and difficult fight amounts to a single season of 'Survivor.'

That's a sentiment I can actually agree with, though not for the reasons you stated it.

Instead, you've grown impatient. You're incapable of seeing things through the long lens of history, the way our enemies do. You think that wars should last a few months, a few years, tops.

I'm going to have to agree again. Shortsightedness has been continuously hurting us.

Especially YOUR short-sightedness.

Making matters worse, you actively support those who help the enemy. Every time you buy the New York Times, every time you send a donation to a cut-and-run Democrat's political campaign, well, dang it, you might just as well FedEx a grenade launcher to a Jihadist. It amounts to the same thing.

Oh that's it. That's motherfucking it.

You know what? No. They're not traitors. They're not some sort of super Islamic extremist friendly news outlets. If they were, they would be saying so. They'd be crowing to the heavens about the victories that Al Queda has been having, etc etc.

IN OTHER WORDS THEY'D ACTUALLY ACT LIKE IT.

The idea that somehow, saying anything contrary to what you think is right is automatically traitorous and such is so...so utterly abhorrent...

You know what? You'd do a lot better in, say, the Soviet Union than most of us would. Know why? Because you'd actually fit in with the power structure.

In this day and age, it's easy enough to find the truth. It's all over the Internet. It just isn't on the pages of the New York Times, USA Today, or on NBC News.
No such thing as one ultimate truth.

But even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter. Most of you would rather watch American Idol or Dancing with Stars.

I actually don't watch either of those, but again, thanks for the insult.

I could say more about your expectations that the government will always be there to bail you out, even if you're too stupid to leave a city that's below sea level and has a hurricane approaching.

'Cause, you know, it's not like that was actually a failure of the local and state officials to provide the transportation to the many thousands who didn't have some other way of leaving. It's not like these were people who didn't want to leave the very things they had.

It's not like they were poor people who couldn't do anything if they wanted to. Nope. It's because they were stupid.

And you say we're uninformed.

I could say more about your insane belief that government, not your own wallet, is where the money comes from. But I've come to the conclusion that were I to do so, it would sail right over your heads.

What? I'm not sure I--

Oh, I see. So now we're all on welfare too. Huh. I didn't know that. I should be arguing with Congressman about where my stipend is.

So I quit. I'm going back to Crawford. I've got an energy-efficient house down there (Al Gore could only dream)
Requisite stab at Al Gore, check!

and the capability to be fully self-sufficient for years. No one ever heard of Crawford before I got elected, and as soon as I'm done here pretty much no one will ever hear of it again. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to die of old age before the last pillars of America fall.

"Listen to us or everything is doomed! DOOMED!"

Who's fearmongering and acting like an idiot again? It's not me.

Oh, and by the way, Cheney's quitting too. That means Pelosi is your new President. You asked for it. Watch what she does carefully, because I still have a glimmer of hope that there are just enough of you remaining who are smart enough to turn this thing around in 2008.

Ouch...that I would actually not want. :( (Pelosi as President, I mean. Cheney can quit all he wants; I'd like that very much.)

So that's it. God bless what's left of America .

All of it, pretty much, but nice to know you can't see a damned thing.

Some of you know what I mean. The rest of you, kiss off.

Why, fuck you too, again.

PS - You might want to start learning Farsi, and buy a Koran
A PS? In a speech?

This would actually be a good idea. We could use some more Farsi and Arabic speakers, since we keep tossing out the ones we've got in the military. (And multilinguism is good for the brain!)

And reading the Qu'ran ought to be an interesting cultural experience.

Okay, long story short: This "speech" is nothing more than idiotic claptrap, just like a lot of what comes out of the Daily Kos.

My fiance's grandpa sent this to her. I wish to destroy it, but why take all the fun for myself?
To the writer: stuff it, he hasn't known half the people in this country since the beginning since the electoral college decided to put him in power despite the popular vote, and hasn't given shit one about anything other than bending us all over to take it up the bum for big business.

Its not a mass email. It was from my fiances grandfather to her.
And you think he wrote it?
