A bear wandered into a sandwich shop and decided to grab a quick lunch.

So is this a big problem in British Columbia?

Don't have to guess the colour of this criminal bear I guess.
Typical police reaction as well, bear didn't eat nothing and they shot him. Is it cos he was black?
KITIMAT, British Columbia, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- A black bear that pulled open a door to a Canadian Subway sandwich franchise sniffed its way through all the food, but ate nothing and left.
Before police arrived, the bear pushed the door open and left, the cameras showed.
Conservation official Brendan McKenna told the Sentinel that later the 2-year-old bear had been shot. He predicted more bear visits in the area as there have been poor fish returns and a late berry crop, the report said.
I expect Rodney King style riots.

He didn't eat anything? Maybe they were out of meatballs.

Maybe he changed his mind, and went to Quizno's instead. After all, their subs are better.

You know, if the bear didn't like the food at the sandwich shop, I would hesitate to eat it (the food, LG, not the bear).

Of all the uses I've imagined for a Cold Cut Combo (doorstop; slimy paper weight; diversion in case of hobo attack; wait until it becomes stale and hard then beat a lawyer to death with it), I'd never thought of bear fodder.
I'd also heard of some people eating them, but that's just silly. No one would voluntarily put that wad of death into their mouth.
You know what's more dangerous than a bear wandering into town?
A moose or an elk. People don't treat them with as much respect and they are BIG, heavy animals, and twitchy as all fuck.
I'd take a bear encounter over one with a pissed off moose or elk any day.
And it's a common enough occurence in plenty of places in BC...so much so that many towns have bear-proof garbages, etc.

The bear didn't eat it either, probably why they shot it, bad publicity for Subway.

Hey!
aside from the death part, you're into it.
aside from the death part, you're into it.
Yeah but the death part is a deal killer, and I'm not into it with EVERYONE. Sheesh.
I'd ask what kind of slut you take me for but...
Ah fuck it, yeah, what kind of slut do you take me for!?

Probably more common in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada. It is the Polar Bear Capital of the world. They wander the streets eating garbage and biting people. http://video.yahoo.com/watch/1425493/4895827
