The Pokey Mystery

So... I know several people in Japan, and in Australia, and other nations most of which I know simply online. Almost all of them have raved about this product called Pokey... and how I should try it, and that its great, etc. So I'm at a supermarket and lo and behold, there is this highly recommended Pokey.Basically semi sweet chocolate on an edible stick. Here's the problem, I am attempting to get the full experience (perhaps in an attempt to feel.. ermm.. multicultural?) and can't figure out.. do i eat it? Do I use it to stir milk (or similar beverage) to make a cocoa flavored treat? Both? Neither? So I decided to present NS with this inconceivable quandary.

It tastes like semi sweet chocolate on a sweetened biscuit.

To be honest I mostly wanted to raise my post count and see what interesting explanations NS came up with.

How anti-climactic.

They're like cookie tubes dipped in chocolate. I've eaten the western Pepperidge Farm versions of the same thing. Quite nice, actually.

Isn't Pokey Gumby's pony pal?

By the way, Pokey is a pothead: http://www.boomspeed.com/looonatic/tryit.wav

It's a Japanese pleasuring device.

You should now know how to proceed. *nods*

First off, it's Pocky (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pocky) round here. Dunno if it's dropped the c elsewhere, but here the c is in existence.

And it's my favourite movie snack. It's lovely.

Precisely, and Pokey cookies are his favorite munchie because they apparently don't have Mallomars in Japan.

I love how the dark chocolate Pocky are "Men's". Regardless of sexism, it's a little stick of addiction coated in many flavors.

I'm officially protesting Pretz given that they took away my beloved butter and maple syrup ones.

It's flattery. Would you rather insult the customer, or make them feel special? ;)
