The WI and Misandry

The WI, for those who don't know is the famous Womens Institue.
Now I don't for one second consider them to be a misandric group, but I do wonder at their relevance in todays society and whether or not they will ever open their doors for membership of men.
What does an institue famous for teaching cooking and good housekeeping have to offer modern woman, and can we consider them to be mysoganyist?

I had never heard of the WI until you posted this. Sounds interesting, sort of like a cooperative extension service but not really. If their focus is still on home ec stuff like housekeeping and cooking I can't imagine why they don't let men join. Now that men aren't moving directly from eating mum's cooking to eating the wife's cooking, they need to know all that stuff just as much as women do.

I remember a while ago a documentary on how some WI members researched prostitution worldwide in order to submit a request to the British government to legalise it and regulate it...
I can't see too many men objecting to that.
