If somehow you manged to break down the atomic structure of a human being and reconstitute the as a donut and then ate the doughnut... is it murder?

Meh. Murder in the pursuit of donuts? There's not a court in the land that would convict.

Especially after the crime scene was tampered. Have you seriously given any thought to what your mass-murder site would look like after 20 cops had run around in it?

I don't think they'd find much incriminating evidence. ANything they did find would get bagged, tagged, and eaten between meals.

My defense just in case would be that it was simply an improvement on the modern human genome and that I am centuries ahead of my time.

Reminds me of an Alfred Hitchcock show I saw once. Policeman husband comes home from work and wife smacks him upside the head with a frozen leg of lamb. She then puts the leg of lamb in the oven and goes out shopping. When she comes home she finds hubby dead and calls the police.

The cops come and all of them know her. They determine the husband was killed with a blow to the head with a blunt object but can't find the murder weapon. About this time the leg of lamb is cooked and the wife convinces the cops to eat it so it won't go to waste. :eek: Yes, they eat it all.
