Prescription drugs and Hallucinations

So I have a really bad cold and I go to the doctor. I get prescribed PSE/CPM 120 -8 mg capsules.

I have seen anything that wasn't there however everything looks kinda off. and all last night I thought someone was throwing pebbles against my window (like in those sappy teenage love stories.) No one was there of course even when I ventured outside in my underwear to check.

I was thinking about getting off the medication but i look up all the other prescription strength Decongestants and see similar side effects.

This cold is so bad that i would be willing to tolerate this for at least a few more days to get it over with. I guess I am rambling anyways have any of you experienced these sort of effects before? If so how long did they last ? and will they get better in the next few days?

The hallucinations could be resulting from a bad fever.

Wait, you have a cold and the doctor gave you a scrip for acid? Where is this doctor?

If you have concerns about the medication you are taking, CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR.

Not all drugs have the same side effects on the same people.

If I seen ye, lurching out the door with yer snotty nose and the lad pokin out of yer y-fronts, I wouldn't have hung round either....

I'd drop the remaining pebbles and hide in the bushes with a camcorder. :D

I ventured outside in my underwear to check.

That's how bad horror movies start.

well it is only like the 30 minutes of the come up (after you start noticing the effects not after taking the dose) so no its not acid.

The underwear, unfortunately, was a hallucination.

You get more help asking a pharmasist about drugs, in my experience.

In any case, you're best off with a cup of peppermint tea and nyquil to help you sleep. If you're being distracted by hullucinations, turn the radio or tv on quietly.

Or just ask the giant potato to please harmonize with the elephants.

Whatever you do, do not play any computer games before going to bed...

I swear I have had the weirdest dreams when doing that and taking medication...
