A toe,to be precise.I know it's not much. This is my first braken bone. How it happened,I don't know.I was as a goalie during a soccer match in school. Then somebody shot the ball in about 60 decrees. Then it just started to hurt and then I sat down and walked home with that leg.BTW,you know what i thought during the X-Ray?The radiation going through my leg.(Yes,it was X-Rayed.)Now,it's in a cast. But,have you brken any bones,if you have what bone and how bad was it?

toes are a mongrel, I think I have broken a few toes from time to time, fortunatly they were 4th/5th toes. Breaking your big toe would be a total bitch because it is used so much in walking.

I have not to my knowledge broken anything. But the pain in my foot over the last couple of weeks is making me think I might be working up to a stress fracture.

So far I count myself very lucky that I've only had broken my Zygomatic Bone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zygomatic_bone) and never managed to break anything else. *knocks on wood*

I tend up not breaking but deeply cutting myself whenever I happen to be unfortunate or clumsy, or receiving lacerations in the cases I fell down hard.

Hope your toe's gonna be better soon!

I once broke a big toe, rushing down stairs just out of the bath, trying to grab the phone off the hook before my then girlfreind hung up, I kicked the bloody wall, man did that hurt.

The only other bone I have broken was a tiny little one in my shoulder, I landed quite wrongly during an Akido lesson, man did that hurt also.

I broke whatever bone is behind the wee toe when I kicked a door frame by accident. Somehow the toe didn't break, but the bone it attaches to did, odd.

Have I broken any bones? Well where to start.

I broke my left wrist, once when I was ten when I came of my bike, and then again when I was 14 playing Australian Rules, both times I came down hard on the ground and in order to stop my face from hitting the ground I put my hands out in front.

I broke the smallest toe on my left foot when I was 10 maybe 11 I was chasing my little brother through the house and I smashed it against the edge of the door frame causing my toe toe to be broken and also dislocated.

I broke my pinkie finger when I was 14 (only a week after I broke my wrist) I was running up some stairs at school where I slipped my hands went out front again but my finger made contact with the wall on the side breaking it in two places.

I broke a rib in a soccer match when I was12. I went in for a hard tackle and came out worse for it.

I broke the top of my foot (only a greenstick) when I was moving a bookcase and it landed on my foot when I was about 16.

I broke my arm when I was 17 I was being a smartarse and I decided to do a barrel roll out of a friends car as he was driving along (he was only going about 10 km/hr) and I didn't land right and so my arm got broken.

Yes I have injured myself a bit but that only covers broken bones don't ask about the other stuff.

WMU, did you toe punt the ball while trying to save it? Or was it against the ground? In either case I hope it heals well.

I broke my arm last March falling on the ice. Unfortunately, the doctors never correctly diagnosed it (when I'm threatening to revisit breakfast and I can't put on my own coat ... idiots) from the x-rays and it didn't heal right. Now it hurts when I overstress my arm, which happens during times when I have a lot of exams.

I broke my foot once by running down the basement stairs because of grapes.

...

Specifically I was in the kitchen getting some grapes and my older half-brother startled me, so I decided to go running down the basement stairs. I tripped on a shoe and smashed my foot on something.

Cast for three weeks.

Other than that I have not broken anything.

Breaking a big toe didn't seem that bad to me. I was still able to bowl with a broken big toe (in fact, my toe felt better with my bowling shoes on, as the toe area of my bowling shoes was narrower than my regular shoes, which I assume kept it a little more stable).

I've broken my small toe on my right foot like 30 times, also broken my right foot like 3 times (most recently a few years ago on a Star Trek toy). I have broken a rib about every year for about 10 years and broken my shoulder twice. I've broken my butt bone and my pelvis, my right hand and and ulna and my left tibia. Also since I have osteoporosis, I get many mini-fractures in my spine and have shrunk 2 inches in the last 3 years.

I've broken my right wrist, and I'm pretty sure I cracked a couple of fingers a few years back, but I didn't have health insurance and knew that all the doctor could do was put 'em in splints anyway, so I never actually got them checked out officially.

As for things that aren't exactly bones, I shattered the growth plate in my right hip, but it was still soft enough that it healed up just fine, and my nose has been broken three or four times now (once it breaks once, it's annoyingly easy to rebreak).

Everybody needs to conform to their label. Smunkee => crazy homeschooling Star Trek mother. Neesika => kinky sex. With tomahawks. I also require this to be a bijective mapping, therefore my surprise, and also therefore no kinky sex for you.

Me either. Fucking Kuwait...

I've never broken a bone, despite my best efforts. Growing up I did manage to get stabbed in the leg with a pitchfork to the point where the fork was stuck in the back of my tibia and required almost 20 seconds of tugging to remove. That really sucked.

4 or 5 toes (not sure on that one did not go in for them) 3 fingers 1 femur and a cracked rib

The femur was the worst one ... I was young and spent months in a body cast (at least I was small so my dad could lift me easy)

I no have no things broken but the English that is mine.

I did have a kidney stone on New Year's day that kept me out of school for 2 days, which was cool except for how it hurt and I had to do make up work. I think school needs more randomly swirling (would that be an oxy-moron?) vibrant colors to hold people's attention.

Do you find now that you still walk differently? It may be a case of your minor toes taking over the role of propulsion (assuming your foot would allow that)

I think I did my right spring ligament (ligament that goes between calcaneus and navicular. It supports the talus and helps form the subtalar joint so is fairly essential in walking and standing) a few years ago when drunk (I fly kicked a tree). It still gives me problems unless I wear good shoes around. The worst part is that I work on a beach so I am always wearing thongs and walking on sand. I end up having to strap my foot every day before work :(

Had a greenstick fracture of a metatarsal in my right foot after I jumped off a bridge when I was in 4th grade.

Pretty sure I cracked one of the phalanges of the foot in my left small toe about 7 years ago, after I banged it into a chair, but didn't have it checked.

I sprained my right ankle about 8 years ago, when I didn't see a curb.

And I sprained my left knee about 5 years ago, in bed.

I never had a broken bone in my life. I had a sprained ankle once and was on crutches for a whole summer; apparently soft tissue injuries can be worse than broken bones - fifty years later and it still bothers me sometimes. I also had a detached tendon a few years ago. I spent a month in a cast then had two months of physical therapy. The doctor told me I couldn't wear high heels any more.

I've broken several of my fingers and blew out my shoulder enough times to require reconstructive surgery, all playing American football. I just recently, back in June, broke my femur playing soccer. Very nearly got it to stick out of my skin.

On the rehab side, the shoulder was a lot more painful to get working again but the femur has certainly been the most frustrating. The bonus is I have a nice bit of titanium going from hip to knee now and additions to my x-ray collection.
