Have any of you noticed all the ads recently? Some of them are pretty funny.
One I've seen alot is the 'Meet single Persians' ad. Why the heck does that one keep popping up?!
Anyone see any other funny ads, or know why some of the adds seem to have something to do with the posts on the page?

Well, I guess NS found a way to pay for this so they don't have to charge us a subscription fee. Nothing wrong with that and I hope they even make a profit.
As for the ads, I don't pay attention to them here, on other sites, or on television. I'm a very adblivious person. :)

One a different forum I got an ad for cockatiel sexing. I'll go and look for the screenshot. Maybe.

I think "Meet Single Persians" is like Voldemort or The Candyman, because I'd never seen that ad before I clicked on this thread and now it keeps popping up.
Not that that's bad, I'd much rather meet single Persians, they'd be easier to defeat than the hordes of Immortals who keep overrunning my cities....Sorry, confusing real life with Civilization IV again. Stupid game, makes me play it for 36 hours straight....
Aside from that, I keep getting ads for mortgage refinancing and the McCain campaign, so apparently I'm a distressed Republican homeowner. Thanks, Google AdSense!

Check around a lot of other forums. On places like military forums you'll see ads for dating "Army girls" for example.
In other words, if we all suddenly switched to talking about Brazil and Argentina all the time, the ads would switch to Argentine and Brazilian girls.
