That's awesome! Heck yeah, she deserves college credit -- prodding the viewer to look at things we think we understand in a new way is totally the fun thing about contemporary art.

On the downside, I bet the MPG is lousy.

Well, she is an art student - they generally get credit when they make pices of art. I could understand your confusion if she studied maths...

You know you have too much time on your hands when you can knit a full size car.

You mean 'if she studied math' right? Without the s on the end?

Your Americoliciousness is showing -- it's "maths" in the UK. Along with "going to Uni" and pronouncing "schedule" without the c.

Believe it or not, there are these things called "other countries" and in these "other countries" there are "other people", and, now brace yourself because this is shocking, not all of those "other people" in these "other countries" talk like you do.

Seems like you got beaten out this time oh high and might neo art. People already explained that math is pronounced maths in the UK. Now go and be condescending elsewhere.

Neo, Troll, behave. Neo, your sarcasm is a little heavy-handed. Now, really, can we get back to talking about hand-knitted cars, before this thread gets jacked all out of recognition?

You can use the ancient craft of knitting to make all kinds of things to enhance one's modern lifestyle. We have progressed from the "socks" of ancient Egypt all the way up to sports cars, space aliens and (as mentioned in another recent thread) menstrual cup cozies and one's own personal Hitler.

This car-knitting art student is famous in knitting circles (which is sort of a pun, by the way), and deservedly so. It ain't easy to knit a whole car.

Full disclosure: I'm a knitter, but I only do it while drinking martinis or margaritas.

Yes, she got college credit for that. And why not? Dude, she knit a honest to God LIFE-SIZE CAR! I'm bloody impressed. Hell, if it was an American girl who'd knitted a Hummer, quite a few kids on this forum would probably spontaneously orgasm.

I'd prefer the Ferrari to the Hummer actually. :)
