After a week of the media fellating Obama and his fellow Democrats, they began focusing on the upcoming Republican convention, but what's this?! A hurricane! Oh what a coincidence!

You see, after Obama gave his speech to 86,000 computer generated fans, he had a meeting with Al Gore and his "scientist" friends to talk about the possibility to create a hurricane that would cause the media to ignore the RNC and harm the events that were planned.

After a few hours of disscussion they came to a decision and called Michael Moore to see if they could use his private jet to litter the Atlanic ocean with hurricane causing chemical agents. Obviously, Moore was ever so glad to partake in this terroristic plan.

So far this Democratic hurricane has killed several people and has prevented our President, George Bush, from speaking tomorrow.

How much longer are we going to let Obama and his fans terrorize this world? We must stop him before he kills us all.

In vague seriousness, I wonder how this will play out for the Republicans (not that it's more important than how it will play out for those in the path of the hurricane...).

They really didn't have a chance of having as dynamic a convention as the Democratic Party's convention, and they're given the chance to do a right thing in scaling back their convention-now if it's not as dynamic it's understandable. If they shift resources and attention to relief they might even be able to undo some (some) of the harm to the Republican party done by their handling of Katrina.

Personally, if I was the Democrats I"d be putting around the idea that God did this as a sign of his displeasure with the Republicans.

It's seems a great, if not actually tragic - both for the lives it takes and the damage it causes - remainder of Katrina as well as overall environmental pollution so lovingly promoted by them.

God has no intention of punishing the gays. As it has been proven, God loves the gays, but hates the gay-adjacent. Colbert already pointed out how the French Quarter was spared most of the damage in Katrina, instead the damage hitting the Ninth Ward. During Hurricane Andrew, Key West was largely spared while the Miami area was heavily hit. Gustav will not harm the gays nearly as much as the gay-adjacent.
