By ''Marble and ''Wood'',i mean Einstein's metaphor where he compared his geometry equation's to marble and his matter equation's to wood, saying it was ugly.now i'm gonna put in geometry's place the Theory of relativity and to matter's place
quantum mechanics.so which one do you like?i prefer the Theory of Relativity, probably because i'm more intrigued in the bigger scale of stuff then just quarks.and i'm gonna add one more thing:what will be the Theory of Everything?

I suspect that you'll find that quantum mechanics and relativity are more connected than you might think. I further suspect that physicists are only recently starting to realize that quantum mechanics and relativity are more connected than they think.

They theory of 'Everything', if such an achievement is possible within my lifetime will have it's roots in gravitation. I suspect that gravity is much more than it seems in the grand scale of things.

I prefer Relativistic Quantum Field Theory (good ol' Standard Model gets no love nowadays).

As far as the GUT goes, I don't know what it will be. But I'm rather confident that it will NOT be String Theory. Why? For no special reason, it's just a hunch.

what about any other time that the morning?

Theoretical physics can be stimulating at any time of the day.
