National Security Strikes Again.

While I can understand the desire to uphold national security, this takes it way too far. In a sense this demonstrates the demonization of Islam.

I am not Muslim. I think Islam, like most religions, is silly. I don't think that keeping a careful eye on some Muslims is a bad thing (keep that same watchful eye on radical Jews, Catholics, Mormons and others, as well), but this man, a convert to Islam who is married to a Pakistani woman, is being persecuted because, well, he's a convert.

I think that if the government refuses to produce a valid reason and evidence to back it up, they will lose the suit.

Obviously a terrorist airline pilot would make a point of advertising his conversion to Islam. All the better to abuse his position for the goals of whichever particular Muslim terror group he belongs to. Good thing the government found out about this.

DHS/TSA, protecting us from terrorism from ourselves.
