This is cool, and the applications go far beyond wireless sex. Depending on the range of the things, we could station massive solar panels in space, and beam the electricity down to stations on earth, and taking things a step further, back to relay stations in space, and down to cars.

this is completely different. 1 it is safe to walk between the receiver and transmitter. 2. it wont ruin my view of the sky with massive bolts of lighting.
Tesla never though about powering individual components wirelessly he though about powering homes and business wirelessly then internally they would plug into walls. mostly because of the danger of standing directly between a transmitter and receiver. (countered by having them raised in the air.
