So, what could you do at six to raise money for charity?

And who has climbed the fells?

What could I do at six to raise money for charity? I dunno, cook some buns or something. Have I climbed the fells? Yes.

When it says the kid climbed his first peak at the age of three...did he actually climb it, or was he carried?

And at the age of 6 I seem to remember doing sponsored runs for Children in Need. And choking on some sort of bread product while doing so.

And the fells? No. Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons? Yes.

He could have climbed it if there was a very good path i suppose.

It's not that unusual. When I climbed Carantoohil (1097m) our group was accompanied by a gaggle of children I reckon were ranging in age from about eight to thirteen. If anything, they were less tired than me when we reached the summit, and were quicker to recover too.

And I've never climbed the fells, but I'd like to.

Well done for the kid.

I like it how he said the his "Dad will be worn out" lol you have got to love the energy these kids have.

When he's through in the UK, he can come to Colorado and climb Pike's Peak (14,110 ft, 4301m).

Then, maybe to Nepal and Climb K2 and Everest.

I wonder if this is how Sir Edmund Hillary got started?

IIRC, when I was 6, I walked ten kilometers to raise money for cancer research.

They're not really proper mountains, though, are they? More like mild humps.
