I watched the men's Whitewater Kayaking event. The first two medals were no surprise - Germany got a gold and France got the silver. But Togo got the bronze. Go Benjamin Boukpeti. I love it when things like this happen. If the U.S. can't medal in an event, I'm all for the underdog.

I'm just glad the irish swimmer didn't drown. We had a swimmer who won once, but nobody mentions her anymore...except maybe in labratorys....
