I'm tired today, and the reason?

I was up until 1:30 this morning playing Rome Total War. More addictive than Football Manager? Only just; those dammed Egyptions!

Yeah, Civ III used to do it to me.

Only 1:30? Pfft, I stayed up till 4.

4? Psh, I stayed up 'til 7:30.

I'd personally recommend the Rome : Total Realism mod, which improves the whole game in almost every way :)

I do that with Hearts of Iron 2 all the time. Just one more month...

You don't say. I wasn't aware of the intimidating levels of hardcore present on this forum.

Only like 3 or so for me. Also, screw RTR. Play Europa Barbarorum. :D

More addictive than Football Manager? Is that possible? I often end up staying up to silly o'clock trying to get a season finished so I can get relegated, sacked, and proceed to destroy the next club foolish enough to employ me. I hate that game and all its stupid glitches and unrealisticness, and yet I just can't stop playing it.

Maybe an intervention is needed, Dumb Ideologies? You seem to be addicted, given the symptoms you describe.

Playing as Rome again? Do you have the "Barbarian invasion" expansion pack?

Naaa playing as the Selucid Empire. And no I have no mods or pathes for Rome. For Medieval yep, and for Shogun yep.

I got quite bored of Rome very quickly, to be honest. I much prefer Rise of Nations.
