Psychology research needs YOU!

People may remember a few months ago, I sent out a request for participants with my psychological research. Well, despite getting quite a few generalites (thank you all very much), I'm afraid I still need more participants.
And I offer prizes - all participants will be entered into a prize draw with a £50 Amazon gift voucher as the top prize. Also you will get a nice warm glow for having helped advance the scientific knowledge of the human race.
You just need to be over 18, European (of nationality or residence) and follow the link below to take part:
http://www-users.york.ac.uk/~gcw102/
Thank you all and I will post a summary of the results once data collection is complete if people are interested.
Edit: If anyone knows of other forums/mailing lists where people may be interested in taking part, please forward it on. Every little helps (or so Tescos tells me)

That should be fine, it's just to try and minimize cultural differences, but these tend to get dilluted once you live/lived abroad for a while.

Ah... probably not, I'm afraid. Unless of course you have already lived there before and are moving back

I filled in the survey, hope its useful to you. Could you tell us more about what you hope to learn from this?

Because of not wanting to bias responses, I'll keep my explanations vague at the moment. Though I will post a nice relevant summary of all my results once I'm done with data collection.
In essence I am looking at certain personality traits (including but not limited to: anxiety, stress resiliance, emotional detachment, impulsivity, fearlessness and empathy) and looking at how this may interact with social skills to determine certain types of social behaviours.

Why are you restricting it to Europeans?

Why are you restricting it to Europeans?
Because some of the measures (and the related social styles) used are vulnerable to cultural differences between Europe and America (in particular, the US but also Canada) but there appears to be less variation on this axis within Europe. So, to play it safe and avoid cultural bias I'm trying to keep it to Europeans or those who live in Europe (and thus more likely to adopt a more European social interaction style).
Although the way my data collection is going, I sometimes wonder if I haven't shot myself in the food with this... the things we do for scientific rigour.

Oh, I sure could use that voucher.
But hey, if I don't get it - scientific progress is good enough for me, too. (That doesn't mean I couldn't use the voucher, though!)

I'd hate to estimate the skew from polling NSG on social interaction, it's like polling a prison for attitudes on following the law.

Yeah... luckily you guys are the ONLY sample I'm getting. I'm trying to get a cross-section.
Then again, I am getting data from the internet, so it's kinda fighting a lost cause to begin with.

I'm sorry, I'm afraid that like Immigration services I can't accept past-life nationalities as conditions for entry :p
