So I had my first taste of the American Oreo cookie the other week, nice, it was nice, it had a umm nice aftertaste, and it was quite buttery.

Still not a patch on the Bourbon Cream though, so what do you lot think?

If Bourbon Cream has bourbon in it, I guess I'd like it.

I had some rice crackers with Brie on the other day, does that count?

Try taking the Oreos, dipping them in some pancake batter, and giving them a quick dip in a deep-fryer, yum! (you can Feel your arteries hardening just looking at them on the plate, but still, yum!)

I'd say even plain custard creams are better then oreos. I tried them once, didn't like them one bit.

Oreos are best eaten after they've been dipped in a glass of milk until they're just to the point of almost breaking in your hands.

So you eat it all in one go.

Oreos are fun. An interesting tradition is to take an oreo and hold a cookie piece in each hand, think of the names of two girls you fancy and assign one to each cookie piece before pulling it apart and seeing where the creamy bits end up.

When I was a kid, Oreos were my cookie of choice. I've outgrown the passion, but still occasionally crave them.

My favorites now are Pepperidge Farm Chessmen and Milanos.

I was going to write the same thing. Hm... Oreos dipped in pancake batter and then deep fried... Interesting. Can I then dip them in ice cold milk and eat them? Oreos without milk are a sin to me!

Hmm... haven't tried this, I think it would probably just fall apart, though. Give it a try, see if it works, you never know. (oh, btw, try the banana filling Oreos they make now, OOOOoooooh!:hail:)

I don't suppose any of you folks know TimTams do you? Man, they crap all over the other bikies (biscuits) except just possibly those chocolate chip made in-store by Woolworths which are a different class of biscuit anyway.

Novice. It's not butter, it's lard. If you wish to truly appreciate American snack treats, you must learn your fats.

Chocolate chip cookies are the best. They're simple, but not in a dull way. It's an elegant simplicity, like a Classical temple.

I like home made cookies...

I make these vegan banana muffin cookies sometimes that are delicious. I'm not vegan, but I have a hard time consuming all the eggs I buy if I buy some for baking purposes and I have a pile of frozen bananas so I always have the ability to make them and they're yummy. :)

Those are some of the best. Try freezing Thin Mints, making sandwiches of Trefoils (shortbread) cookies and nutella, or Samoas (frozen or normal. Love them)

The best way to eat oreos is by grabbing 6-10 of them, and scraping all the creme together to make one SuperOreo.
Double Stuff is for anorexics and small children.

I live in the south of England, and was offered deep fried ice cream in a Chinese restaurant. I ordered it, more out of curiosity as to how the hell such a thing worked, but alas, their deep fat frier was out of order.

LIES! Everyone knows the proper way to eat an Oreo is to twist it apart then scrape off all the cream with the bottom of your teeth and eat it. Then you take each individual wafer and press between your tounge and roof of mouth and suck very hard till you start to get cookie juice out of it, then it crumbles/dissolves into a mass of chocolate goodness onto your tounge.
