PSP Sound Problems

Greetings. After being unable to find any solid solutions to the problems resulting from the low audio on my PSP, I've decided that a good idea would be to consult the PSP users of the NS General forums in the hopes that they'd be able to assist. My PSP does work quite well and all the games (except for one) work excellently as well as the two movies I have for it. The only problem is that whenever I play a movie, for example Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, the sound is so low that you can barely even hear it; even if you put it up to UMD+2. When I play one of the demos, however, the sound is actually a bit more better. This puzzles me. The sound for Dodgeball is actually better with headphones on. If any NSG PSP users have had this sort of problem....how do you fix it? I'd love to be able to play all my games and movies with equal and excellent sound. Nothing is as good as staying up late while watching a movie or playing games like Twisted Metal or Jeanne D'Arc.
If anyone has any solutions then please post them here. I'm hopeful to get this problem corrected so I need not worry about buying a new PSP because, frankly, that would just suck.

Set it on fire 'by accident' and take them up on their insurance policy.

Perhaps the unit is protesting your taste in movies?

:D
Good one, Intangelon. If it was, I'd be shocked. I only have two movies: Dodgeball (from a friend) and Lords of Dogtown (came with the PSP).

Your problems with your... ah, PSP, are merely a reminder of the blasphemy of computation. You should burn the thinking machine in purifying flame and purge store where you bought it.

Here's what you do. :)
You know that little plug in circle where you can stick headphones, speakers, in etc? Well if the sounds on certain movies are too low to hear, you can always watch them at home and hook them up on giant speakers.
Of course, that would probably defeat the purpose of having movies on the psp. Still or you could tell everyone around you to be quiet and then watch your movie :P
