So, in the US, a movie came out called "Swing Vote". It's basically a movie about the entire election coming down to one man, and the candidates try to get his vote. The movie has candidates basically give the guy oral for two hours, let's be brutally honest about that, k?

However, what would you do if you were the deciding vote in a National election and the candidates were after your vote? Now my original plan was to have both Democrat and Republican party pay me $1 million each and then I just screw everyone over by voting Libertarian. However, that may just end up with me going to the morgue.

So my new idea is basically auction off my vote. :D Yes, democracy will go down the toilet if money can be made. :D

So what would you do if you were the deciding vote?

I'd suggest a simple gentlemanly contest to decide who gets my vote.

The only way that would be possible is if everyone that can vote, registers, and votes, and its a tie. In that case, I would tell them to fuck off.

well.... here in america we don't vote for our president... we vote for something caled the 'popular vote'....
which translates into some drunk asshole voting for bush....a.k.a 'electoral college'

its pretty easy in the UK what with the only party big enough to challenge labour being conservative :tongue:
