So, what is NSG's favorite breed of animals?

For me I just love the Siamese cats. I've had two so far, and both of them were/are awesome. Sara was my first Siamese cat and she had the "Mothering" nature, I've had her from when I was six, to 21. She was basically my second mother.

My current Siamese Amelia is such a sweetheart, and she is just so funny the way she tries to act brave, but at the same time, it's painfully obvious that she's a wimp. She is just such a cutie pie it hurts.

For dogs, I would have to go with the Golden Retrievers. They are awesome dogs who'll love you till the end of time, and all they want is to be petted and loved back. They are very docile and loyal. Although our Golden Retriever was jealous when we babysat my brother's dog, or my nephew. But he was a sweetheart also.

So, NSG favorite breeds of animals! :)

I love tabbies. Then again, I am biased as I have owned a tabby for over 15 years and she's the sweetest kitty EVAR!

Siamese (seal point) are also up there. Nature's alarm clock! ^_^ (I had 2 of these at one point; the male was such a big baby. But really cute!)

Hehe, I have a hearing aid, so I can't hear when I am asleep because I have it off. So Amelia likes to run around on my bed until I get up. She used to stick her nose into my mouth for some odd reason....

How did your mom train Coco to wake you up?

I've actually trained Amelia to come and sit on command. :)

I actually have a Mexican Redknee, a pulchra, a rosehair and a pinktoe. They're my daughter's but she can't have exotic pets where she's living so, in essence, they're mine. I'm rather partial to the rosehair, but the redknee is the prettiest.

I also like snakes and have a Mexican Black Kingsnake - he's quite mellow.

I really prefer mixed breeds where dogs and cats are concerned, they're generally healthier and less tempermental. I have three of them (cats).

Rats and mice also make good pets. I have one of each.

Oh Lord! I just realized, I have a zoo. *runs screaming into the night.*

Dogs; Rodesian (sp?) ridgeback, and Red bone hound

Cats; American short haired barn cat, and the Russian Blue (a gorgious animal)

When I was young, I wanted to someday own a Black panther cub...but I came to my senses.

Oooh, and the Ball python is by far my favorite snake...

I like mutts. =)

But as far as dominant breeds in a mutt go, I tend to like the medium-sized to larger dogs. I'm not a big fan of little yappy breeds. I really love Rottweilers.

I'm also a big fan of Corgis and Bloodhounds, but mostly because my doggies are mixes from those two breeds. =)

I used to have one of these when I was in high school (she was a blue ribbon winner at 2 different country fairs). The person I bought her from had a barn fire, and lost most of his quality breeding stock, so I sold her back to him.

For me, that's bait. You can probably catch a nice bass with one of those :p

Barb Horses. They're fast, dexterous, and have quite a lot of spirit-easily my favorite kind of horse to ride. Arabians and other desert breeds come in second.

As for Dogs...Corgis are my one true weakness.

ive always wanted a wolf, i wouldnt mind a miniature dachshund, and maybe a cat, it has to be a black cat. for birds, i wouldnt mind having a crow or raven. got enough fish already.
as for 'exotics', an iguana will do fine.

ok so those are just what pets i want, favourite breeds in general are all that are tasty, which is in general, most animals.

Hamtaru is cute too. I used to have 4 of them but they keeped on reprocuding so I had to give them away.
