How inconvenient, that he was informed that he was going to be prosecuted before he was taken into custody. I'm sure conspiracy theorists won't make anything of that. *pffft*

They killed him, just like they did to JFK.

The timing is a bit convenient.

Possible conspiracy. They have been trying to solve this for how long? For the same amount of time that hey had been publicly blaming Steven Hatfill. Same bio weapons center, wrong suspect.
But personally, I blame it on Jimmy Hoffa.

Had he been prosecuted, he would have received the death penalty for sure.

I tried to think of a funny comment, but then I remembered there was a Pineapple in the oven. And I'd forgotten to feed it.
While probably not as painful as dying of anthrax poisoning, dying of acute acetaminophen poisoning is a very unpleasant, messy and drawn-out process generally ending in liver failure. Certainly as high a price as he would have paid otherwise.

i do wish they had arrested him before he killed himself. the evidence needed to be vetted in court so that we could all feel certain (if he got convicted) that they had the right guy.

What? You mean you're not comforted by the idea that somebody is dead, even if it means someone else who might actually have done it is still running around loose? That doesn't seem very shallow of you. What kind of an American are you?
(You are an American, right?)
It was obviously the KGB.
Remember in 2001 when John McCain said that the Anthrax was from Iraq, on tv?

it was just one of those sunday afternoon brain glitches.
the justice department would NEVER accuse a man on flimsy evidence. it never has happened; it never will happen.

He committed suicide, therefore he's guilty. How convenient that he took care of his own prosecution. Think about how much time and money is being saved. If only other people with such guilt on their conscience took matters into their own hands. After all, he committed suicide upon learning he would be charged. Sounds like an admission of guilt.

Well.... uh.... >.> You see... uhm....
...uh.... or he could have just cracked under pressure and be innocent. He could be caught up in a witch hunt. It happens. Either way, it does seem suspicious that he killed himself under such circumstances.

Or he could have been killed because the FBI realized it had nothing and didn't want to engage in another PR embarrassment like that million dollar settlement they had to deal out to the other guy they accused.

Then there's that as well. But so long as there is mystery surrounding his death, rumours will fly on free aero plan miles.

I have to post this video, in regards to anthrax.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfgJL-HFnd0
He must have seen that Walker Texas Ranger episode where some escaped criminals blackmail the Texas Rangers by planting Anthrax canisters with a time-bomb on them in a critical area of Dallas. I think Walker beats up all the criminals and saves the city or something...
Obviously that guy knew there was no hope.

So, do the conspiracy theorists keep blaming Hatfill, or what?
