Yesterday while driving in my car I was listening to the radio. On came Coldplay with Fix You. It was only then that I realised the line I had been singing as "See a stream down your face" was in fact "Tears stream down your face". I laughed so much I nearly drove off the road.
Anyone else had a sudden realisation about a song lyric they had been singing along to?

"Blinded by light" is one of the songs that everyone got wrong, back in the day.
Before the internet people bought music. Now there's Pandora (http://www.pandora.com) et cetera.

A freind of mine was convinced of the line 'Celia Black phantom bike' from some Meatloaf song or other!
I tried pointing out that it was probably more likely to be 'Silver/Black....' but shit we were only kids and he just wouldn't have it.

The real lyrics for Blinded by the Light aren't much better, and they don't make any sense at all.
