Yes and no. There's a small but dedicated group of people who saw GWAR and said "this is exactly what I want, but without the subtext or irony." The experiment succeeded to the point where it's not a novelty anymore.

And I highly resent and disagree with calling anyone on Psychopathic records an "artist". A joke, sure. An abomination? Go ahead. But an artist? Please. Real musicians are artists. Not those morons.


EDIT: Im actually suprised there is a "Juggalo" on the internet. Partly because Im suprised one can afford a computer to put in his trailer, but mostly because being on the web would take away from time spent smoking cheap weed and drinking Fago.

Well, all of the Juggalos I've ever met were still living with their parents, and the great thing about the intertubes is that you can type one-handed, leaving the other free for joints/Faygo/being in your pocket/whatever. So it's not so surprising. (This is why the interwebs are so great for democracy -- they give voice to the otherwise voiceless, whether we want it to or not.)

Funny story involving them.

I was going to a party at a suite at the Venetian (after party for the AVN). I saw this big group of clowns ahead of us (15 maybe) and I said "I wanna go where they are going". One turned around and summoned me to follow. We all stop at an elevator and it opens up. They all CRAM in and hold the door open for us. The guard standing there says something about how the elevator might not be able to handle it but they pretty much pull us in with them. We are packed in there and going up to one of the top floors and I can't help but think that for some that might be a nightmare experience. I enjoyed it personally.

They actually happened to be going to the same party as me. I was wondering what the hell they were doing at an after party thrown by some of the promoters of the AVN but then I found out they did clown porn.

They were putting on a pretty good show at the party. I don't think I could have sex with clowns but I'd be willing to try now.
