As far as I know, everybody loves a bit of Python. So what are your favourite sketches/songs and why?

Personally I love Prejudice (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUyD5RXEeY8), partly because I know they'd never get away with it these days and also because it is brilliantly funny.

Also, I've always had a soft spot for Eric Idle's songs, such as:

The Galaxy Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44DlSj6bnn4)

or

Noel Coward (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGRPFUYUUdQ)

And don't forget the most classic funny sketch of them all. The Dead Parrot sketch.

That is a big, big call.

Especially when you're talking about Python.

This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrzMhU_4m-g) is a particular favourite on these forums (I got better!) :)

That one was pretty funny. The whole turned me into a newt line had me falling over but this part always gets me laughing the hardest when I watch that movie.

Good though it is, I think my favourite part of The Holy Grail is either this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAaWvVFERVA&feature=related) or the Black Knight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjEcj8KpuJw&feature=related), although to be fair if I was given time I'd probably just end up linking the entire film :)

The scene in Holy Grail in which God charges Arthur with the quest (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jHsbwY4EPyA).

GOD (amid thunder and grandeur): Arthur, Arthur, King of the Britons...(notices the knights' prostration)...OH DON'T GROVEL! One thing I can't stand, it's people groveling!
Arthur: Sorry, Lord.
GOD: AND DON'T APOLOGIZE! Every time I try to talk to someone it's "I'm sorry" this and "forgive me" that -- WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW?!?
Arthur: I'm averting my eyes, O Lord.
GOD: WELL, DON'T! It's like those miserable Psalms, they're so depressing -- NOW, KNOCK IT OFF!
Arthur: Yes, Lord.
GOD: Right. Arthur, King of the Britons. Your Knights of the Round Table shall have a task to make them an example in these dark times.
Arthur (eagerly): Good idea, O Lord!
GOD: 'COURSE IT'S A GOOD IDEA!

That last line kills me. "I'm GOD, for cryin' out loud, of COURSE it's a good idea!" I can hear it hundreds of times, I will still laugh.

Oh god, Monty Python. It's just so hard to chose favorite sketches from the show and movie. They are all so good. Dead Parrot and Spanish Inquisition are up there of course. As for the rest of what you guys said I like too (especially Four Yorkshire Men). So I'll see if I can think of some haven't said yet;

Money Programme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlS8O257Gi0
I love that Money Song, especially the "You can keep your Marxist ways for its only just a phase," line. It's just so funny.

Crimson Permanent Assurane: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KX61PUZ3xkI (thats only Part I, you can find the second half yourself)
There is just something funny about old, accountants becoming pirates and attacking giant corporations.

The Dirty Fork: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q42g-xlb-OU&feature=related
I especially love the punchline.

And there were a few others but I don't want to go searching for the YouTube videos. Besides, I think these are good for now

"I must set you a task to prove yourself worthy of my daughter."
"Yes sir, I accept."
"You must go to the highest tower in the castle and throw yourself out the window."
So, in the morning, the Prince, dressed in shining white armor and armed with his magic sword, jumped to a painful death.

The audio version from the original vinyl is more concise and funnier, but the YouTube version is good, too.
