Less cars, industry, golf courses, lawns, driveways, plastic toys, little gadgets with plastic moving parts, anything with designed obsolescence, plastic bags, candy bars, contraceptives that don't really work properly, defense spending, misogyny, pop stars, sitcoms, reality TV, copyrights, oil pipelines, superhighways, suburbs, discount superstores, economic transactions (yes, I went there), pollution, garbage, nuclear waste, growth hormones in the milk, etc. etc. etc.

Imagine what the world would be like if we just got rid of the shit that doesn't work, instead of inventing yet another product?

Humanity could do with a bit more common sense. But well, let's not wish for the impossible. I'll just say that the combination of pink and neon green should be an official military colour scheme.

Even if we limit ourselves solely to the ecological implications of what I propose, we would have a massive reduction on our ecological footprint. Just imagine how clean the air would be if we shut down all the plants that make crappy plastic kids toys, or novelty accesories for your car, or things that dangle off your keychain.

Obviously, it will never happen.

We definitely need more fast food. Not only does it free up more time for individuals to do what they wanted, such as working, it also provide the saturated fat/transfat necessary to speed up death through natural causes. After all those who becomes too old to be in the work force becomes nothing more than a resource sink anyway.

Besides, it's not like we are forcing them to eat the fast food or something. Most people are aware of it's side affects and choose to consume them on their free will.

We also need more cable televisions stations. There's nothing more mind numbing than being overwhelmed by choice. We definitely need more people fixated on their sofa rather than thinking about how awful their life have become. Also when combine with fast food it further speed up the death through natural causes by reducing the amount of excise for the individual.

We definitely need more stress in our working environment. By increasing stress level, we can increase the consumption of fast food and the amount of time spend on the TV. It will also drive people into consumerism as a strategy to balance out their emotional needs.

And lastly, we definitely need more stuck up people who takes this post literally.
