I was just wondering a general opinion on the smilies...

Do you like them, they are actually pretty cool

But I make it a point to do it sparingly so as not to overdo it. The mods have expressed dismay at an overabundance of smilies in the past. *nod*

I like smilies. This one seems to have a bigger smile than the old one. :D

The sniper one isn't very threatening on account of it looking like a cameraman. And they barely kill any soldiers.

This may be the grumpy old man in me, but I hate them. The old ones were better, simpler. I say we boycott :soap:

They are annoying me just sitting over there flickering. The old rolling-eyes and sticking-tongue-out smilie were way better. I have never in my short tenure at NSG used a gun-toting smilie, a giving-the-finger smilie or a head-banging smilie, and I only used a fluffle ONCE, so they all just annoy me. Greatly.

IMHO, but in all fairness, there are some smilies that I like: :gas: :mp: :salute:. Also I like :hail:, but I have this nagging idea that that smiley was created for, and at the behest of, them mods.

You have to suspect that a neurologist would be more help than NSG in such a case ... but it's a well-established fact that some people won't even go to a doctor or a lawyer unless NSG tell 'em to.
