Favourite music video at the moment?

What is your favourite music video at the moment? I've been looking for some neat ones because it's been such a long time since I saw a good one.

Mine is the iconic Mylène Farmer's video for her new single "Dégénération". (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vw2XMfynmqY) (Warning for puritans/non-Europeans: You can briefly see some breasts here or there and people of all sexes kissing, so if you live in one of those countries where people go bonkers over something like that, perhaps you should watch some Teletubbies instead, but I hear one of them's a poof, too).

I saw it on satellite TV (where else can one see music videos nowadays, since regular channels never seem to air them any more). She is so gorgeous, the video is so gorgeous, the song itself is gorgeously simple... simply gorgeous!

I know its an obvious and predictable choice, but a lot of the videos by Radiohead are just amazing, particularly Just, Karma Police and no surprises.

As a song, yes, but as a video? Not so much. While Freddie is always spectacular, the video itself isn't much to display, especially when compared to I Want to Break Free (http://youtube.com/watch?v=9hMrY8jysdg) and Radio Gaga. (http://youtube.com/watch?v=K9Dq99YMheU) You may try again, though.

*Twitch* I want to break free? I didn't know that had a music video. *Twitch* In fact, it doesn't have a music video. *Twitch twitch* That song doesn't exist. *Twitch Twitch*

They've always had interesting videos, I remember liking the one for Paranoid Android (http://youtube.com/watch?v=szdWPWnnNls) because it was based on the cartoon "Robin" that had a minor culty following in Sweden where it was made.

I saw the thread title and then saw the link and thought for a split second that you'd meant Dégénération (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU1MfTr9m_c) by Mes Aïeux which is, of course, the exact opposite of what I'd expect from you.

I used to love this video as a kid, I had it recorded on video and used to watch it all the time because every time I saw that fat man take off his clothes and try and chop down the lamppost I laughed uncontrollably. Oh yeah I forgot to mention this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Z3ClCwcCvdQ) (although it's not technically radiohead).

I quite enjoy this effort (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nj6SO_yKMe8) from Los Campesinos, this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYKNZAN2KFE) from Lightspeed Champion (there must be a strange alignment of planets or something, for I like two trendy artists, popular with the kids) is quite charming, if nothing incredibly special.

As always, Monsieur Gondry impresses with this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssJutXkpSlY&feature=related) vid (I'd recommend trying to find a better quality version to get the full effect), proving that a great video can dramatically improve a rather dull song.

I'm sure there's others out there (ignoring the classics); I just don't watch MTV or the likes at all.

I recommend that you visit youtube and type into the search "Innerpartysystem dont stop"

Fantastic song and video. (PG 13 advised. Some gore and disturbing scenes.)

The Beastie Boys' 'Sabotage' is always a good 'un.

And this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=vQo3NqQoOQM) - not really a music video, but awesome nonetheless. It's Apocalyptica covering Sepultura.

Most of Tool's videos are pretty cool as well, especially Schism (http://youtube.com/watch?v=UhjG47gtMCo).

I love Rammstein's Ich Will video. The look on the band members face when he turns and faces the guard is priceless. The video depicts a blotched bank robbery, where the robbers, (the band) come out as the hero's. A well made and clever music video in my opinion.

On the subject of Rammstein, Du Hast is another good one.

At the immediate moment: Samwell (http://youtube.com/watch?v=fbGkxcY7YFU).

But other than that, oh, One Week (http://youtube.com/watch?v=RSsJ19sy3JI) I guess. Can't go wrong with BNL.

Pork and Beans (http://youtube.com/watch?v=muP9eH2p2PI) is pretty awesome, too.
