So, I was reading a hilarious story by David Sedaris today. He's great, right? ^_^ Anyways, he mentioned the French health care system in his story, and it made me think a little about the current situation of health care in my homeland. I don't really know whether or not universal health care would work in America, perhaps our country is too large for such "socialist" reforms. It seems that those types of things work better in smaller countries such as Denmark or Sweden (or maybe it's just something about Scandanavia?).
Does anybody know a way that Universal Health Care might succeed in the USA? And do you think someone could live a fulfilling modern life without it?
if for some reason they didn't feel like dishing out the major moolah for it, of course...
