Has anyone else here noticed the extreme amount of poor games Nintendo has received on the Wii? I know I certainly have! Therefore, I say we should bring back the Nintendo seal of quality! Who's with me? No one?

Darn Halo fans...:p

Some good, some bad, some awesome.

Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princes, Smash Bros. Brawl, Wii Sports (especially the golfing), Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Mario Kart, No More Heroes, Metroid Prime 3, Trauma Centre: Second Opinion are all excellent games.

Moreover, there's a number of gems on the Virtual Console, including Final Fantasy: My Life as a King, not mentioning all the classic games you can download (I'm playing TLOZ: Link to the Past right now), or GameCube games you can replay.

Add to that Japanese imports (I can't wait to get my hands on Devil Kings 2), and it's not too shabby a list of games.

True (Except for Mario Kart), but the sheer NUMBER of bad games out for it might turn off non-Nintendo fans. I've bought a few I wish I never laid eyes on (Wii Play not being the least of them).

Every console has its share of bad games, though.
In fact, most of the consoles I can think of have many more bad games than good ones...

What's more troubling is the lack of RPG's on the PS3 >_>

I know you said Wii games, but I just bought Civilization Revolution for my DS, and it had the Nintendo seal of quality. So I don't think they got rid of it, they're just throwing it on anything that wants to be a game.

The Highlighted games are garbage. haven't played Mario and Sonic, No More Heroes, or Trauma Centre

Mario Kart and Wii Sports are good though.

It's the official seal, but not the Official Seal of Quality. The one they use now pretty much says: "This will work on the appropriate game system. We made sure."
The official seal of QUALITY basically said: "This game will not totally suck in all respects and is at the least worthy of the title; Video game" They got rid of that in '03.

Yeah, I'm sure you just happen to hate all the best games on the Wii and are not trolling whatsoever.

No, what's trouble is that Koei and NIS are producing games for a doomed system (the PS3) that I don't have.
