Personality and political beliefs.

Conserative Morality

I've been noticing something lately. Many of the people I know have personalities that relate very closely to their political beliefs. including myself. Has anyone else noticed this? Have you seen it in others? Have you seen it in yourself?

Or is it just me and that overdose of caffeine I had last night?:p

well I'd generally consider myself a green these days and yet I can assure you that I both shower regularly and my love life would never get that exciting

I'm not sure what you mean by that exactly. I'm a huge liberal, but I don't do sit-ins, sleep with everyone on the block, listen to NPR or eat vegan. I'm sure I act in plenty of liberal-ish ways, though... I guess I'm not sure what you mean by "personality" in this case.

My theoretical belief in equality for all coupled with my practical disdain for most people would make me a classic Communist.

It would be off to the gulags for anyone who disagreed with my concept of fairness.

I don't think so.

There are obvious connections like those that ardent social conservatives are unlikely to be trying to marry their gay life partner while running an abortion clinic as a co-op, but that's as far as that goes.

Fact of the matter is that if I told you how I spend my days you wouldn't be able to guess my politics, or vice versa.
