So the Spore Creature Creator is out and I've been fiddling around with it for a while now. It's pretty interesting and I made this giant bug thingy, I call it Dino-bug due to my utter lack of imagination when it comes to naming things. Anyways I think people on here could have some real fun with it. Download it and then show us what you make.

There's wings in the trial version. Same as the one you saw in the Combine Gunship. Look under the decorative tab, bottom of the list. Wings grant glide and jump capability. The more wings, the higher the jump and glide. Flight is currently unknown.

Also, WASD and Spacebar work as creature controls in test drive mode.

They havnt released the downloadable $9.99 version for Mac yet and im not paying 7 bucks shipping for a 10 dollar item.

Was I the only one who read the ToS?

It basically says that anything you make is EA's property, to do whatever they want with. It further goes on to say that if it breaks your computer, fuck you.
And the real kicker...EA reserves the right to gather information from your computer.

Anything you create is obviously EA's. Besides the fact that it is their creation tool, you are uploading it to their service. Not alot let's you retain the rights to your stuff like that. Standard.

Reserve the right to collect data - impossible to say without knowing what they are collecting. This is a completely online game where you share creations with their big Spore web and it watches your Spore-verse to see what to populate it with, etc.

I have to credit some people's imaginations. I'm waiting for the PS3 one now. Or the Wiimote.

Oh and please NO MORE penis creatures or creatures with a penis, and NO other genitals, creatures with genitals, or other obsceneties. You will get BANNED

Does anyone know for certain when the full game comes out in the U.S.? I think it's August something in Europe, but they're earlier for some reason.

I played around with it until 8:30 this morning when I should have been sleeping for work.

Her red eyes are from staring at the screen all day. The wide butt, from sitting for years. Fig(?) leaves are the only cover she could come up with, being stuck out in the wilderness, but normally all NSFW areas are efficiently covered due to sitting behind a desk. The big mouth might have been useful in a more primitive time, but now, most of its uses are accomplished with the hands and a keyboard.
