I know this is 'just a forum' and people argue all of the time. But i have just posted a thread that i thought would be fun and it turned into something nasty.

I am a nice girl. I enjoy arguing when its appropraite and its about something serious or something you care about. When you have something interesting to say or a proper opinion.

However, i do not see the point of being mean just for the hell of it. Insults and what-not are not called for, in my eyes. Especially in a place where we obviously all have a common reason to come here.

So i apoligize if i have offended anyone in said post, i wasnt being nasty. I thought it was funny then it turned around on me. Next time i might tread more carefully i guess.

General isn't, and will never be, a place for "interesting things" and "serious opinions" only. There'll always be banter, and side remarks. Many of them are in jest and good humor, some of them are cutting, quite some bitter, and very few are malicious. If you feel like you're being treated to a malicious remark, go and seek out the moderators' help / opinion by posting a thread in moderation.

Please reconsider your benchmarks for what you see as an "insult", "nastiness", "being mean" and "turning on you". If you are truly offended by what I said in the Sexiness thread, then you might want to reconsider being on NSG, or any internet forum for that matter.


Also, please try not to deflect any of the "guilt" onto Fass just because it's the easy thing to do on this board, and will get you sympathy points from everyone else. He's not said a single word against you in the thread (except for the two of you jokingly criticizing each other's taste in men). If you have an issue with me, do take it out on me. (Which, of course, is not saying that Fass couldn't stand it, or would, in fact, care the slightest bit.)

Fass get's away with a lot, for some reason. If he is in trouble, it's likely to be the tip of an iceberg, rather than some kind of assassination-by-Plum.

Fass is harsh, but he isn´t an arse, or at least I´ve never seen him act like one, but I´m a n00b here so, yeah. In any case, I´m not a mod.

Once again, although it all seems very harsh to me, I'm not a mod, I haven't been here long enough to form a proper opinion, and I guess the Mod team had it's reasons to take this decision with Fassitude.

i have no idea. i dont follow fass's punishments.

all i know is that he is never innocent when he has been punished. so if you feel guilty for it, dont. he is well aware of the rules and knows full well when he is breaking them. and he knows he is on a short leash that gets him punished "faster" than other people. (im always surprised at how much he gets away with, honestly, but thats none of my business either)

Its not that i feel i have done something wrong. I know i havent. And i dont think there is anything wrong with me besides the fact i havent showered today. But i cant help but feel a little shitty that some people like to argue/be rude for the hell of it. Thats true. And apparently youre right. For some reason i now have about 5 people calling me all sorts of names. Immaturity on their behalf, but still..i dont think its very nice. I'm kind of used to that though growing up with the sister i had :D I dont let it bother me, if people want to be immature and call me names..hey whatever helps them sleep at night and feel good about themselves. I have always found, the ones that pick on you are the insecure ones. They feel better about pissing off others. That or they have nothing better to do.

I know this is 'just a forum' and people argue all of the time. But i have just posted a thread that i thought would be fun and it turned into something nasty.

I am a nice girl. I enjoy arguing when its appropraite and its about something serious or something you care about. When you have something interesting to say or a proper opinion.

However, i do not see the point of being mean just for the hell of it. Insults and what-not are not called for, in my eyes. Especially in a place where we obviously all have a common reason to come here.

So i apoligize if i have offended anyone in said post, i wasnt being nasty. I thought it was funny then it turned around on me. Next time i might tread more carefully i guess.

I've just come out of a vicious civil war, so all my adult citizens are busy rebuilding, but I can give the high school kids a cuople of weeks off school, most of them saw some heavy fighting at their parents sides and could do well against a bunch of soft aussie garrison soldiers.

If I ally with you and send 12 yr old infantry, will you provide the air cover and heavy corps backing for the invasion of the rambling philosophers republic of Plum Duffs? or whatever the nation is called?
