NationStates Jolt Archive

Well i have now been a member of NationStates for a week i think..and i have spoken to a few of you. However i want to become more involved.
I dont know if this is the right place to post this, so i hope no one gets annoyed with me. Ive read most of the threads in 'Gameplay' and 'NationStates' etc but im a bit unsure of where to go now?
Currently all i'm doing is accepting issues and talking in General forum.
I dont know how to start RP or what to do. Most of the posts about that stuff are confusing and long and it hurts my brain. Where do i go from here?
Although i have asked this before, the thread kind of died after a few of us lost track of what we were talking about.

Very simple. Start yer own thread to begin with! Use proper punctuaction, and make the OP interesting, even if not very long.

It may be best if you find a focused region and get to know people in it. Some regions have forums and role play on those as well as help new members learn the ins and outs of RPing.

You go to International incidents, and you start by either joining a thread, or making your own.

Do what I often do: Lurk. Or post something interesting, original or inobvious, whether it be a new thread or a post in an existing one. Or, if you're into roleplaying, go to the Sound & Fury forum, where I know nothing.

its my weekend you can't expect me to write coherently :p

what I think I was trying to say was you look at the threads being made in international incidents and just copy what they are doing (start by making a fact book etc) or rather don't be a pussy and just post something

There is little, if any, RP in Gameplay. You can contribute to issues, RP your nations over at NationStates or International Incidents forum, and debate over the latest legislation on propose/draft your own resolutions in the World Assembly (if you're a member). I'm a bit short on time right now (exam on the first week of classes! :mad:), but we can do a slow-moving RP if you like.
